.5mg Xanax, 20mg Percocet, half a glass of wine

I can't get that feeling, unfortunately. I had a tooth extracted yesterday and the surgeon wrote me script for 12 percocets. I was very careful. Last night I took 7 of them, and I got an itchy feeling (after awhile), but couldn't fall alseep until almost 2.

I took the reamaing 5 today. Not quite, but almost all at once, and went out for a walk and enjoyed it, but nothing more than that.

Now I'm back to my usual pint of vodka to feel something.

Hopefully I didn't do anything bad to my liver for such a mellow high....
 
Oddly, I've taken higher doses of painkillers before, and stronger ones. (Dilaudid, Oxy ...) Never had this feeling before either! It seemed that the Xanax plus the Perc plus just the little bit of wine was a perfect storm.
 
Oh by the way, I'm a real newbie here. I lurked for all of two days, and then decided to join this Forum.
 
Glad you've discovered Bluelight! I've been a lurker for a long time but didn't join so very long ago, and haven't posted much. Best forum of its kind on the Net, superior in many ways to Erowid.
 
Phoenix, I like these guys. I didn't work yesterday (tooth extraction), and today just called in sick, and I couldn't bear more than an hour of daytime TV.

So I screwed around on the Internet, and I like these guys.
 
until all of that comes back full force, perhaps tripled, because you didn't and were not capable of deeply thinking of what YOU do in your head that makes you anxious, benzos cover things up, percs put a positive spin on it and the alcohol lowered your inhibitions even more to allow the other two to soak in. Really try to meditate on that feeling later when you recover and hopefully you will be able to apply something, if you haven't forgotten writing this already lol

It's only once or twice, but that much acetaminophen in your body is not good for the liver. The itching is a side effect that many people experience especially with opiates, although other drugs, mainly prescriptions, cause itching. It usually goes away with tolerance, but then you have other side effects to deal with. Taking 7 percocets at once is a lot, you probably should have taken the recommended dosage and then increased from there.
