5mg Morphine pill

i have 1 5mg morphine pill.. will i get a strong effect from it ? i dont want to take it durin the day then end up all fucked up for the day, so if it's going to be strong i would leave it till night

Lol 5 mg of morphine will be ludicrously weak. 5mg Morphine is equipotent to about 100mg Codeine.

EDIT: And i'm talking IV morphine here.

5 mg morphine is equivalent to 5 mg hydrocodone is equivalent to 30 mg codeine (orally). If you have NO tolerance, you might feel a little something, but you definitely won't be fucked up. One option is to "plug" it or take it rectally. You can use a needless medicine syrup syringe to use. It will hit you better that way (higher bioavailability), and even still I highly doubt you'll be fucked up. Are you sure the morphine pill is 5 mg? I didn't know those were even made.

Even if he IV'd the fucked it's only equipotent to 90mg codeine... It simply isn't recreational by itself.

^just like alex here im surprised that 5mg morphine pills are made too. smallest ive seen is 10mg ir or 20mg er. but yeah OP, id just save it til you have a headache or are sore for any reason. thats the only usefulness that little amount has.

Well, I think a consensus has been reached here, zigzag'er.. 5mg morphine is very unlikely to be felt at all. I would certainly save it until you have more..

I'd still only have 10-20mg fir a first time though, just in case - I know that still sounds really low, but some people are super-sensitive and I have seen respiratory depression from 20mg oral morphine.. once you have ascertained you are not one of those people, you can try titrating your dose up!
