5meodipt and the water measurement method

Theres a thread where phreex talks about his method for measuring 2ct7 by dissolving it into water and then using a syringe to get out the desired amount.. I was just curious if this would work the same way with 5meodipt, has anyone tried dissolving it in water and if so does it dissolve as well as 2ct7 does or should I use an alcohol? thanks in advance...
