5MAPB and Citalopram

Hello! Just a quick question...

I am currently tapering off of citalopram. My current dose is around 5mg, staggered. So I take the 5mg once every 3-4 days.

I have recently acquired some 5MAPB tablets and plan to drop at a music festival I'm attending later in the summer.

Is it dangerous to take this substance in combination with the low dose of citalopram I am taking? Or should I be ok?



5MAPB is a serotonrgic substance is it not?

I'm mainly worried about inducing serotonin syndrome.

it's actually more likely that the citalopram will basically block the 5-MAPB from doing anything. i'd save it until you've stopped taking citalopram and been off it for at least two weeks.

well, you are on an extremely low dose and it's every three or four days... some people have reported that ADs don't seem to affect the trip too much. every person is different. if you have more than one dose available (pellets?) or you can measure out a dose from powder that's on the low-common side and give it a dry run before your festival, see what happens?

edit: of course if you want to test it, start with a smaller dose and work your way up; be safe...
