HI ALL. well still on the oxy/ thru my doctor and currently on 180 10-325/ 240 30mg Roxicodone and 60 80mg oxycotin. im now at the stage that I cant get any more euhphoria at all. is that normal. I have heard of people on these for 10 years and even though there tolerance goes up they still get euphoria. today I even had around 650mg and still nothing. I want to quit but couldn't bc of my job and I know I wont make it thru withdrawal. plus cant get off work and I a married and have 2 kids. at least before I got energy and euphoria from it and was productive. now its nothing. I am at bottom and scared. don't have time to go to rehab and have tried time and time again and wont make it thru cold turkey. now its to the point where just the very beginning of withdrawal and im done. so scared of it. 5 years of use as well so worried about how long paws will last . also not sure if my brai n will ever produce its own dopamine again. I mean its been 5 years every single day. damn doctors. I posted o n here before but its been awhle/ put my story on here if anyone is interested to see the background on it. any advice or just talk will be greatly appriceatied

thanks

Euphoria doesn't last. Unfortunately.
Are you addicted or just dependent? How bad is your pain without opiates? (Not including WD)
Your dose is high, if you really want off you should do a taper schedule.
I too miss the days of feeling peace and energy from oxy. I never really got euphoria except for a fleeting moment when they IM'd me dilaudid after surgeries, but never euphoria from oral. That said, I still miss the bubbly, warm peaceful feeling I got as a new user to opiates. aFAIK once that goes you never get it back.
Please be careful, people OD from trying to recreate that feeling.
