I've come to decide, at least personally, that planning trips around events like this is just a recipe for disaster. At the very least, bear this in mind: a strong dose of acid lasts 12+ hours. This movie is presumably about 2 hours long. You don't get to turn the acid off when you walk out of the theater. With any luck that's the last thing you'd want to do, of course, because you'll be having a great time, but have some perspective. You're talking about a heavy dose of one of the most unpredictable psychedelics - the movie you watch for the first couple hours will be of little significance, unless it ends badly somehow, IMHO. Either you will have a crazy trip that makes you forget all about the movie anyway or being out in public on a huge dose of acid just to see some movie while it's still 'recent' in theaters... It just sounds like a bad idea to me. Wait for the DVD (cuz we never advocate illegal things here, nudge nudge wink wink) and watch it at home on your computer or TV instead. I guarantee whatever intellectually significant revelations LSD + Alice in Wonderland are capable of producing will not be impeded by the lack of popcorn and sober members of the public who may not share your liberal views on certain rather illegal substances. At the very least, I know I, for one, would be paranoid as shit in public on acid and would not enjoy it at all. I may not freak out or cause an incident, but I'd be obsessed with every stranger being a potential threat to my legal security... Do what you will, it's your life, but I would strongly advise you to keep your high dose LSD trips, especially if you haven't experienced too much intensity from LSD before and are callously trying huge doses. I'm not trying to sound judgmental - been there, done that, most people here have - but this just sounds like a perfect recipe for disaster to me. Psychedelics in public are dangerous enough, but if you are still in the "trying to push it further since you haven't gone what you feel is far enough" phase with LSD... Well, I think most users go through that phase, which it sounds like you're in, and usually, when an intense experience finally does come, it almost invariably involves kicking your ego in the ass pretty severely first. This is an experience I think most people, at least, would benefit from, but few to none of them would benefit from this experience happening anywhere under public or legal scrutiny.
