5 Tabs of Acid

5 tabs? Better hope they're not 100ug tabs haha, you'll be flying in and out of galaxies in a comfortable environment let alone a movie theatre where things are completely out of your control.

Especially if you've had two tabs each on two occasions with no effect. If you've never actually experienced LSD and you end up jumping into a 5 strong tab dose, you'll probably end up having the worst experience of your life in a public theatre. Just my 2c.
 
One time I ate 3 hits of some blotter I had gotten. I bought a 10 strip. Tripped out with a few people. One person ate 2, and the other 2 people each at 1. Then I gave the rest to some other party. Usually I test dose a hit to check out the potency... but this occasion was different. I didn't care much so I dropped all 3. I tripped way harder than I expected. I was with a couple people who were new to the acid world to... I'm usually the one who takes care of first timers... but this time I was blown away. I was telling them that they may need to take care of me... and that together we would get through it. I had to lay down and collect myself during most of the come-up. It came on fast to. These hits were far more potent than I was expecting. One of the first-timers ended up getting scared and wanted it to be over... he was crying and felt absolutely crazy. This is when I stopped being lost and realized I had to help the people I was with. I had to accept responsibility. I feel like by the middle of the trip I got everyone on the same wavelength. It was powerful though... I don't think I could have sat in a theater until maybe 6 hours after initial dosing. I would have been way too fucked up too handle a theater. It may be because I don't like movies on big doses of acid.

my advice to you is to try half a hit... or a full hit. Take it a few days before the movie, just to check the potency... then determine if you want to drop 4 hits. If you take 1 hit and only get a mild stimulant feeling, then 4 should be good. If you take 1 and feel good and effected with slight visuals and thoughts coming in and going out faster than time has ever let happen... then you should take 2... just to get the extra added buzz.
 
I would take 5 tabs if it was just a normal trip.

But seeing your in a public place watching a somewhat weird/creepy/trippy movie things could get fuckin scary . Trust me lol
 
take 3..... golden middle way.300 hits is too much,3 are walk in the park.Dont think you will have some mega strong blotter and it would be too much,three hits should be around 200 micrograms and that is low/medium dose.

If I were you I'd take 2, and I wouldn't redose until the movie was at least half over.
 
Wait what.. 5!? Two hits of good acid put me in a different place.. I see an EXTREMELY strong trip coming your way if you decide to take 5.. And in that setting I'd find it hard to be comfortable.
 
From what I gather this is your first time tripping, on lsd at least.
If you want my real opinion I wouldn't want to do this in a movie theater. Even if the movie was really awesome, I don't like being around 'normal' people when im tripping and I like to get up and move around not stuck in one place.
If you are going to do it 100%, start out with 2 at the most and go from there. I don't know how strong the tabs are that you have, and you don't either, but the first time I took lsd I had 1 tab and I was floored, even after being very experienced with mushrooms. If you are tripping too hard in a public place it won't be very fun at all, trust me..

Remember just because you took 2 before and you didn't trip doesn't mean you can't take 2 again and blast the fuck off! ;) and also remember that your trip doesn't peak for quite some time.

Also, make sure you have sober people with you not only to drive to/from but to interact with people that you won't want to deal with.
 
Why would you want a mental trip in a movie theater? That is the last place you would want to be contemplating your existence.

Also imo, redosing after 1 hour is just a waste of good acid. Save for another experience.
 
do keep in mind that your going to be tripping on 5 hits of acid in the middle of like 400 scene kids....

Tim Burton, johnny depp, they eat that shit up... and its going to be annoying as hell if your sober, mush less with a head full of acid....

Im waiting until the crowds die down, then im going to the theater fucked out of my head.....
 
^actually if you go when the theater is 100% packed (especially opening nights) then it's expected that the audience will respond to the movie-- laughing together, whatever.

the only other time you can get away with being loud in a theater is if nobody is there but your group of friends (very awesome)

if you can't stand theater crowds, then don't go. that's what dvds and projectors are for :)

forget the acid, i can't believe no ones worried that you're gonna go see alice in wonderland! :D seriously, i don't think doing this is a good idea.. not cause im conservative, but because i think you could probably have WAY more fun doing something else while on 5 hits of acid.. which by the way could FLOOR you! not in a bad way mind you.. buuuuuut.. i guess if the acid's not strong.. er.. okay, joking aside.. when i take large doses of acid i like to start w/ one or two, and then eat more when it feels right.. again, five hits of good acid can be life changing. please consider going bowling instead! :D :D :D
 
..or playing in a puddle. :) or taking pictures of a dark room with the flash on.. anything really.. oh well, have fun.. :)
 
I'm not too sure about this movie. A friend saw a special preview and was a bit disappointed.

Way more psyched for Tron.

As for taking a potentially large dose of LSD at the movies--I've tripped a lot at movies and lower doses are better. On too much acid it can be difficult to concentrate or sit still, or even to care about the movie at all.
 
I mean i could handle it without it being a problem, emo/scene kids are just kind of obnoxious...

i have been on 4 hits of acid around my parents, and they would care....

I would consider 20mg of 2c-b to be the best option for this movie....
nice and colorful, comfortable around people, not an appetite killer...
 
i wouldnt take 5 at a theatre regardless of how strong u think they are. ive taken 1 tab and walked around the city and that got intense. it turned out to be 300ug tho. but still, you dont want to put yourself in that position just incase u do end up tweaking out. and tbh, if you're only going to watch a movie, why would you need more than 1 or 2 anyway (depending on strength). test them first
 
Do write a trip report - I'm sure we're all dying to know how it goes =D. Maybe it will be Wonder in Aliceland (which I hope) or maybe Blunder in Aliceland. Who knows?

You'll either freak out because you're in a very public place with some (most likely) disturbing imagery on a giant screen, take way too high of a dose and just be fucking gone, or you'll just be annoyed as fuck at the whole situation.

I say save the LSD for a much more wholesome experience.

we tried watching wizard of oz on shrooms once.. unfortunately, while some movies seem "trippy", watching them while tripping can make you realize just how totally fucking lame they really are! life is cooler than movies.. i wasn't joking about the puddle.. but really, five? i mean, do it, but i think a safe safe safe bedroom would be more appropriate. if you're up for it, go explore the world! :) (away from judgmental eyes)

this isn't about you not being able to "handle it".. its that tripping on five hits of acid, you really won't need any other external stimulus.. people in public aren't that cool all the time, and psychedelics make me pretty sensitive.. conservative people can be pretty weird and hurtful.. if you really don't give a fuck at all, then hmmm.. you're either a sociopath (doubt it).. or i sincerely doubt you'll enjoy the movie.. hmmm.. you know what, you wanted the acid, you wanted to watch the movie while on acid.. maybe its a good idea for you. def. i will feel like an ass if you go and say, "it was awesome.. im so glad i did.. i don't know why you guys are so uptight.." who knows? :) then again, it could suck really really bad.. that's why a lot of people are like "don't!".. :D please share what happens! <3
