5-OMe-DMT, what is it?

I have an opportunity to buy some, but a bluelight AND google search is helping out much. Can i expect a similar trip to 5-meo-dmt?
 
It's a less common way of referring to 5-meo-dmt.

I would ask the vendor for the IUPAC name of the compound they are selling to be on the safe side. The IUPAC name for 5-meo-dmt is 2-(5-methoxy-1H-indol-3-yl)-N,N-dimethylethanamine .
 
You could expect the trip to be exactly the same as 5-MeO-DMT, because thats most likely what it is. As Solistus has said, check this with your vendor, this thread is borderline....

when i smoked 5-meo-dmt (my technique was probably horrible though, hence my mild ass trips) ive gotten a WTF HOLY SHIT feeling about nothing and a very strong rushing feeling. it also tastes and smells like burning plastic. nastay.
 
Yeah the burning plastic smell (and taste for that matter) are synonymous with DMT. I'd expect it to just be a naming thing by a vendor for some weird reason. Solistus's advice is spot on with wanting to get an IUPAC name for it, any good vendor should be happy to oblige.
 
I wonder if this is a trick to get around the recent scheduling of 5-MeO-DMT in the US. Hmmmm....
 
It was said a while ago that it would be scheduled, i think in response to someone being charged with posessing it and getting the charges dropped because 5-MeO-DMT wasn't illegal... but they never went any farther or something, because it's been quite a while and it's still not been officially scheduled. They scared most vendors away from shipping to the US though. The canadians certainly won't ship to US now.
 
I did some when the infamous PINK DC pills came out about 2 years ago (sold as mdma...they contained no mdma and only 5-meo-DMT)

They were fucking crazy, one of the craziest trips ive ever had. Also hands down the CRAZIEST lighttrailes ive ever seen. A good trip, no comedown. Good times.
