5 months and sex is slowing down, what to do?

It is an option but the majority of couples choose to spend their time in other persuits, idk.

For me to be comfortable enough with someone to not to have to have sex all the time is kind of a compliment.

agreed, although I was in a long term relationship with someone that might be interested once a year

and we lived together

that did not sit well with me, and I began to look outside our relationship for physical satisfaction

it was an open relationship at that point, and we both kind of ruined it by having very different ideas about what was and wasn't acceptable

not sure I would want to be with someone that couldn't or wouldn't want to try to maintain at least a semblance of a sexual relationship with me

my sex drive is pretty high, and once a week is probably the bare minimum I am willing to accept as healthy enough to leave me feeling happy

Well yeah, once a year just sounds like you were being used for something other than a relationship.
