Sorry if this seems obvious but i couldn't find out much info specifically for MIPT. I haven't got the best scale and want to dissolve 50mg's in a certain amount of liquid. Just want to know what would be best. I was thinking using ethanol in the form of vodka as this may protect the compound from degradation more efficiently then water?
Volumetric dosing is a must as my scale is accurate to .005g-.01g unfortunately. And i don't want to waste too much product if degradation is significant within a few months. All input will be very much appreciated thanks.

it should dissolve in ethanol fine. remember to weight it before dissolving it so you know how much it is in the first place!
vodka protects the solution from bacterial growth rather than preserving the chemical.

in solution it might be a bit more unstable than in other forms, but truth be told ive kept a bit of powder at room temp for a couple of years without significant deterioration. a few months should be no problem. and depending on your use and doseage, 50mg in solution may not last that long in the first place :)

this might be of help too

Ofcourse I'd rather not guess with this stuff especially for my girlfriends sake. I plan to dissolve 50mg+-10mg in 10mls of vodka. Which works out to be 4-6mg's a ml which sounds like a good place to start.
Thanks alot for the advice.

You could potentially start with even less mind... ;
Also be careful about evaporation after you make the solution. Ideally there s no need to concentrate it so much, so 50mg can easily go in 100ml of solution, which is more manageble.
After dosing, mark out the level of solution, so in case some evaporates until next use, you know and not end up dosing something that may be more concentrated than expected.

Ethanol should work fine, but using vodka if you're planning to avoid water is silly, it's 60% water.
If you're going to use ethanol, 95% grain alcohol or lab grade ethanol is preferred.
Keep in mind that compounds will degrade quicker when dissolved in solution no matter what the solvent.
