5-MeS-DMT

Now that 5-MeO-DMT has been scheduled in the us I a interested in this one. Any thoughts from those more knowledgeable than I?

I'm guessing it's 5-MeO not 5-MeS.

From what I hear, it's a completely different experience from N,N,DMT, far more likely to dissolve your ego, far less visual, and a lot less fun and a lot more difficult to handle. Tread lightly!

^Did you even read what they posted? They obviously are not talking about 5-meo-dmt.

Anyway, I don't know anything about it other than what I read in tihkal. I've never seen it available, but seems interesting none the less.

Apologies, I did read it but I misunderstood, thought he'd misspelled MeO as MeS somehow. I've never heard of 5-MeS. It did strike me as odd that he only wanted to try it now that it's scheduled, haha

Not much info other than thikal. Might be interesting. There's quite a few analogs out there, though.

What about 5-EtO-DMT ? or..

5-Ethyl-DMT
5-Methyl-DMT
5-Fluoro-DMT
4-fluoro-5-methoxy-DMT

Most of these don't look all that interesting, except, maybe the last one.

I have read that it is supposed to be less potent but the structural similarity would possibly yield a similar effects profile? Less potent is fine by me, not looking for an improvement but a possible replacement that is still legal.

I found 5-MeO-DMT to be very unique, I'm looking for it's same brand of "Uniqueness".

Maybe even the less potent MeS might also be less terrifying or have a more subtle body load? (of course, it could also be worse)

He wants to try 5-mes-dmt, because 5-meo-dmt it is illegal (schedule I as of Aug 09) to possess/buy/sell. Your post cleary says, that he wants to try 5-mes-dmt because it is a scheduled drug. You are wrong, 5-mes-dmt is not specifically illegal/scheduled in the US, and never once did the OP say it was.

Please tell me what I've read wrong. And as I said before I will not post anymore clutter in this thread.

^ Just to clarify. He was saying he misunderstood - and during his misunderstanding he thought it seemed strange that they wanted to try a substance because it was now scheduled - now that he understands he sees he was wrong there.

On-topic: With regards to 5-MeS-DMT, Shulgin's description is rather short and doesn't compare it to 5-MeO-DMT, DMT or other similar psychedelics, with 15mg being described as "pointlessly stoned" it'd be safe to say this is somewhat less potent than 5-MeO-DMT, and might have some sort of depressant effects. I think really the only way to know for sure would be to try it with so little information out there, just remember to do a ~1mg allergy test first!
