5-MeO-Tryptamine Body Discomfort - Never felt this before

So I tested out 25mg of some very fluffy, white 5-Meo-DALT earlier today. Overall it was pretty nice, very easy going and will hopefully be trying it again but I need to get some opinions first.

A few months ago I started my research with various 2C-Xs and have tried 4-AcO-DMT as well and have learned to expect and cope with the nausea. However, my research today gave me a very weird type of nausea filled with strange pains in my lower abdomen area, right underneath my belly button where my waist starts. After about an hour the majority of the nausea went away, but every few minutes I would start feeling this pain and have to sit on the toilet for a few minutes until it went away. I felt no pain anywhere else in my body.

If I remember reading correctly, 5 MeO tryps are 'harsher' on the body, so my question is: Are these pains to be expected from this compound? And, has anyone else experienced this feeling either with 5-MeO-DALT or any other 5-MeO-xxx?

Thanks

^ No I had only been awake for about 45 minutes. The last food I ate was about 14 hours prior to ingestion.

Yes I have tried that with different compounds and my results are widely the same. I'm not concerned about the sick feeling I get from say, 2C-E, but rather the off putting pain that comes and goes throughout the trip. I will most likely try the same 25mg oral dose again in a weeks time with a little food to see if this happens again.

I have problems with all 5-MeO's except 5-MeO-DMT. 5-MeO-DiPT, 5-MeO-MiPT, 5-MeO-Dalt all give me a very unfomortable bodyload, to the point of not being able to take them at all. Especially 5-Meo-MiPT gives such a horrible body load and nausea I just keep vomiting through the whole trip. Also, I somehow just dislike the nature of 5-MeO's. It's not easy to explain but they feel more "unnatural" than other tryptamines.

I've had no body load with any 4-substituted tryptamine except 4-HO-DPT (and the bodyload on it is manageable, not overwhelming) or any other tryptamines for that matter. 5-MeO's just don't suit me, the only exception being 5-MeO-DMT.

Serotonin itself is 5-Hydroxytryptamine. I believe the theory is that 5-position tryptamines tend to share more functional effects with serontonin than other types of tryptamines (e.g. 5-MeO-aMT is more likely to cause nausea and diarrhea than aMT). In short, it's thought that the 5-position tryptamines may bind with many more kinds of serotonin receptors (and more strongly) than other psychedelics, including the types that mediate GI functions (5HT2a is the specific receptor thought to mediate most psychedelic effects, though in truth it's more complicated than that as there are non-psychedelic 5HT2a agonists). Your specific symptoms are probably just a result of the unique layout of serotonin receptors in your GI tract interacting with the drugs rather than anything indicative of a worrisome reaction. If you can get generic ondansetron - a selective 5HT3a antagonist anti-emetic - you may find it's effective in blocking some of the worst GI effects.

I've decided that if I were to take any 5-MeO in the future, I have to have something that eases the bodyload and especially the nausea. Vomiting on 5-MeO's is the rule for me. 12 mg 5-MeO-MiPT caused tremors and I started sweating profusely. My body temperature must have gone up since it felt like i was burning up, I stripped myself almost naked and still it was hot like hell (my room was quite cool). The vomiting was like nothing I've ever experienced. I vomited through the whole trip, not just on the come up. The other 5-MeO's aren't as extreme regarding nausea, but 5-MeO-MiPT for some reason was utterly horrific. Although very similiar, 5-MeO-DiPT do cause vomiting but at least there are some enjoyable moments.

As I do have quite a few 5-MeO's in my stack and definately am not going to throw them away (except for maybe my gram of 5-MeO-AMT, I won't touch it), I'd be grateful for any advice about what to take to reduce the bodyload and nausea.

Other tryptamines - no nausea whatsoever. If there's a bodyload, it's a pleasant bodyload.

Hm.. interesting. I guess I will just have to test out this chem again and see if I experience the same effects.

I gave 32mg to a friend and he didn't say anything about pains or discomfort.

Maybe it was somethin' I ate?

Will update once I test it out again
