why does 5 meo mipt give my girlfriend chest pains? last time i had to give her xanax and it went away and the trip continued like normal. I thought anxiety bit she says she knows how that feels and an anxiety attack and it's not it. is it vasoconstriction? I've found a number of ways to try and combat it if so. she went to the doctor And apparently everything is fine.

also would exercising while on it help? just like hiking at a slow pace. what about taking etizolam before the trip?

also happens with 25-c

I'm not sure what it is, but I can tell you with near certainty that it is not "vasoconstriction". The term is a popular buzzword to describe what is more correctly referred to as "body load" and seems to be rather overused, much like the idea of serotonin syndrome was at one time.

IIRC both 5-meo-mipt and 25c are more vasoconstrictive than most other psychedelics?

I agree with you though, (to my knowledge) vasoconstriction wouldn't be the culprit of the chest pains in this case.

Somewhat edited for clarity...

Maybe I'll try a small dose of etizolam before taking the psychedelic.

That will merely dull the trip and possibly mislead her into taking more of the compound than she should (i.e. unnecessary boosting) -- not recommended. If the doctor said that nothing is physically wrong with your girlfriend, then the issue is almost certainly a case of mild anxiety, regardless of her claim. That said, it is conceivable that something is indeed physically not right and the doctor didn't catch it. Therefore, tread carefully, especially with any NBOMe's.

thanks for the comments. Will def thread carefully. thanks for the tips :)

also like I said in the previous comment, she took xanax to help herself and then it stopped and she was in a great laughing mood enjoying the trip just fine. it is just a suggestion that I will try to see how she reacts. it'll probably dull it but if it works so she can enjoy it somewhat, that's what I'm aiming for

Probably jusst anxiety I personnaly get chest pain from it time to time and a guy I know thought he was having a heart attack but the pain he was experiancing was caused by a anxiety attack/ panic attack.

If the docter said nothing is physically wrong then the above is most likly what its from.

Stay away from caffiene and other stims ( nicotine) well before and during consumption and see if that helps combat the problem.
