5-MeO-DMT

Hi, yes I am new user but I have done a search for this so don't crap on me if this is a repost.

Ok so I know about DMT, But what is the deal with 5-MeO-DMT? I have heard it is legal in most Aussie states, that it is not as much of a trip as DMT but it's still 20X better than shrooms.

It also seems really really easy to get, but I just wanted to know the legal deal with it first. Like it is really legal, is it a first time caution offence, are we talking prison time here??

Anyway, if anyone here knows about it I would greatly appreciate some more Aussie info on it. BTW I know all about DMT, I just can't be stuffed extracting it plus I know DMT is 100% illegal in Aus.

20x better than mushrooms though? Most psychedelic users shy away from such simplistic comparisons. It is only as good as the insight you gain from it and all that hippie jibber jabber.

Probably not legal though, we have rather blanketing analogue laws in Australia, getting high in general seems illegal.

Although I'm not 100% sure of the legality, I did check the controlled substance import/export list and 5-MeO-DMT is not listed as one substance that cannot be imported without authorization, but that doesn't mean the nice broad analogue laws wouldn't cover it.

5-Meo-DMT is defintely not legal in Aus, covered by a million analog laws...but yeah, its really not that like n,n DMT imo; it is much more intense physically, and can lead to a lot of confusion. More often then not, it feels very similar to dying Emerging from the 5-Meo-DMT blast is nice though, and mixing it with plain DMT is good too. Be aware that it is a lot more potent then DMT, and also a lot less euphoric...

Extracting is illegal, yes.

I don't think your body produces enough endogenous DMT for it to be worthwhile to take out or re-direct either.

I went to the mountains the other weekend and the place was covered with wattles. I had a great floick under some acacia shade on DPT and imagining the tonnes of DMT awaiting inside these barky-homes. Australia is most excellent for psychedelics of the natural variety.

I would have thought that as 'foxy methoxy' has the additional polar group, it should be pretty easy to separate using column chromatography.

Well for the lay-person though...I'd be surprised if most DMT, for example, on the market sin't simply extracted from mimosa or the like; unless its 'synthetic' of course.
