5-meo-dipt Can anyone shed some light on this problem?

Recently my friend ordered 5g of 5-meo-dipt. It came in the male separated like in the picture with two extremely different colors. They both appear to be hcl because its fine crystals. It also has the smell of a tryptamine, I've had previous experience with dmt. Well after field testing the usual dose of 10mg there was no effect. The dose was eventually reached to 60 with little no effects besides a bodyload and very mild morphing.
My question here is if anyone has any experience with a tryptamine losing such potency and if anyone has any insight of what this could mean. also the bags are marked the same product code (5-meo-dipt) but far different batch numbers. Anyone shed some light?

Impressive, your supplier has managed to provide you with not one, but TWO samples of degraded and/or improperly cleaned product from different batches...

5-MeO-DiPT is supposed to be white, like 99+% of other drugs (I can count on my hands the number of recreational drugs that are not white or clear in their pure state).

If this was any normal RC, I would tell you to pitch it and scream at your vendor, but foxy, being scheduled, is presumably both expensive and hard to find vendors for (well, I know it's hard to get vendors for, since I don't have any). God only knows how pure or impure it is. When you were working up the dosage, how long were you allowing between trials? Psychedelics have a very strong short-term tolerance effect, so if you waited less than a week between the trials, they're not valid at all.


I can't guess how pure that is from looking at it - sample 2 is of course cleaner than sample 1. It takes a remarkably small amount of crap to make something look brown - back in the day on one occasion I got some JWH 073 that reeked to the heavens and looked yellow brown from everyone's favorite former vendor. I was like "97% my ass!". So, I took that gram, and washed it repeatedly with ice-cold 91% EtOH, after discovering that the yellow crap was soluble, while JWH-073 wasn't, at least at low temperatures. The product of this washing was a beautiful white. Well... I saved the yellow-crap-filled ethanol and evaporated it, and weighed it. 30mg, ie, 3% - so their 97% figure was indeed correct!

The batch I had sometime back was pure white and active at the normal dosage range.

5-Meo-DIPT can actually many times appears pinkish due to impurities. But that's the other tone color I know of. I've never seen such color (green?) for Foxy. Also I have a batch for almost 2 years without any loss of potency. You probably got ripped. From your description and photo, it does not seem like Foxy at all

I didn't even find foxy very enjoyable. I much prefer 5-MeO-MiPT. Easier to get and more awesome.

This is basically an ID thread. You may trust these samples are what you ordered but for all we know it is something else. Let's say for now it is 5-MeO-DiPT, then we still don't know what the coloration is and if it just means bigger doses or if it's harmful in a way etc etc...

Can you shed light on this? Is unfortunately not a clear question. I'm sorry but I have to ask you where you'd like to go with this thread.

I recommend you let us know before it's suspended and also recommend you read the rules and note our nice FAQ and Index.

And solipsis I was only asking if anyone had ever seen this issue , and TheAzo gave the exact "light shedding" I was seeking. i've had another handle on this site that I no longer have access too.
