4mg hydromorphone pill weighs 100mg

Greetings all.

I have a question regarding pill weight. As the topic says, I am using a very precise scale (goes down to microgram levels) and weighing one authentic 4mg hydromorphone pill on it, which the scale is telling me weighs 100mg. What is the remaining 96mg? Some sort of binder/filling? I see people discussing insufflation of these pills and I presume whatever the other 96mg is is safe to go up the nose, relatively speaking?

Any advice is appreciated, thank you.

of course. the medication guide would tell you exactly what inactive ingrediants are present, but yes, the remaining weight is filler/binder. have you ever seen 4mg of powder (ive only seen abotu 20mg of 2C-T-2 in terms of lowest confirmed amount of powder)? that would be TINY>

Yes, you are right - 4mg of powder is incredibly tiny (I just put 5mg on the scale, it's virtually invisible!).

Anyhow, I think my experiment has been a success. Thank you.

Yes, safe to snort away. Many people will tell you to IV it- if you don't already have a bad IV opioid habit, lets not and say we didn't (even though brand name dillies are some of the safe-er pills to shoot, esp. if you use a wheel filter, just, don't, please. In the name of harm reduction, snort that shit, either wet or dry. Goodluck, godspeed, and goddamn I envy your (assumed) low tolerance.

Thank you. Tolerance is nonexistent.. I just performed a quick experiment and I think this will be quite success.

Could one theoretically snort 1mg every 15minutes to better gauge things? Could one snort 2mg now and then 2mg in another hour? Or does tolerance and what not put a damper on trying to boost things?

Also, what exactly is wet snorting?

I assume he means prepping a solution like you would for injection (water or saline + hydromorphone) but rather than injecting, you sniff or spray it up your nose to be absorbed in your sinuses.

1 mg will probably not be enough, 2 might be perfect for you. Tolerance won't be an issue.

About how long does one need to space out hydromorphone dosages? If someone snorted 4mg yesterday, could they again snort 4-5mg today? Or would that be a waste? Thank you.
