48hrs and no withdrawal?

I'm new, and probably not posting this where i should... This website really confuses me on my phone. But anyway, I've been through opiate withdrawal (from pain pills) before, and it usually takes about 36 hours for withdrawal to kick in. That was with a 200 - 300mg a day habit. I'd go one day without and usually wake up around dawn the next day in w/d. Well i went a while without touching a pain pill but recently i began doing one here and there. For the past two or three weeks I've done them daily (all kinds, hydro, oxy, morphine, suboxone - whatever was around), doing up to 60mg a day. Well here's my question.... I haven't had ANYTHING in 48hrs and i feel not one symptom of withdrawal. Is it possible i may withdraw at all? Considering it was only a cpl weeks and i wasnt doing the same amount or kind of opiate every day? I probably had 45 - 60mg of a roxy/morphine mixture day before yesterday. I'm just confused. Why am i not in withdrawal?

Relax, you may be good. I'm on an obscene amount of Opana and Oxycodone and when I run out, I'm in deep shit within 4-6 hours and it lasts really bad for 48-72 hours but then it subsides a bit and I'm good, just fucking tired as can be. I usually take Neurontin and Caffeine to stay awake. Basically my deal is "do what you need to get there". Good Luck!!

Thank you for your response. So do you think i might be withdrawal-free this time? Or do you think it might still show up?

Id expect some withdrawals to be present. Are you taking any other drugs?

After 16 months clean, I had a 2 week relapse on heroin and did 11 grams in that time. I was surprised how easy the withdrawal was. A few sweaty nights and slight insomnia but nothing bad.

Take a minute to remember how bad the withdrawals used to be. This will happen again if you continue.

A relapse is normal for anyone who has quit drugs and is to be expected. Celebrate the fact that you had the will power to quit again so soon.

Thank you. Opiates can have me hooked in no time so i really just need to stay away. Im grateful ive escaped wd this time. Hopefully there will be no next time.

Sometimes opiate withdrawals don't seem to come like you expect. In my experience, no withdrawal after 48 hours means you are largely in the clear from any serious effects sans depression and lethargy. However, if your last use was with suboxone or methadone, it may take three days to feel the withdrawal - though it would be mild if it took that long to commence.

Well i ended up doing an oxy later that day. So ill never know. Im really bummed that i can't seem to put these damn drugs down
