Hello all. in just under 3 hrs, it will be 48 hrs since I took my last dose of oxycodone. I was taking oxys once a day, every day, for the last 9 months roughly (started at 30mg and escalated to 50mg). On Friday (4pm EST), I took about 30 mg, all that I had left, and that was it. It is now 1:30 PM (EST) Withdrawls obviously have sucked to this point but I'm surviving. I told my physician my problem and he prescribed me clonidine, which has been a help. I have also been taking immodium AD, advil, a multivitamin, and am trying to drink a lot of water/gatorade. I've barely slept the last 2 nights, but feel like I can see a light at the end of the tunnel.

I'm looking for some support from the forum, or anyone who has been through withdrawal and gotten clean while I fight this battle through the next few days. I plan to go to the gym tomorrow and just walk on the treadmill as long as I can walk around the house okay. I'm also curious if I should expect the withdrawls to worsen any as I feel a tiny bit better today than I did yesterday. Any tips, support, or feedback anybody can provide me is greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance and God bless all of you.

I feel your pain. I've kicked roxys, methadone, antidepressants and tramadol. The worst is methadone.
Every day you will have ups and downs. Ride them and know that it will be frequent. A piece of advice is to listen to music. I know it doesn't sound effective but it will be your fort in this process. Then in the future these songs will be something you can listen to when you feel hopeless.
Drink water when you remember to, eat small but easy to chew meals, and if you can get some
Benzos, that will help.
The pins and needles at night, those are the worst. It's literally the worst and it will get better in a few weeks. Take it second by second.

I came off Oxy's once . It was 4 years ago.

I used em for about 6 days. Wow. The high I got was NOT worth the pain and agony I went through. The first 2 days were the roughest and the third day was better.

I am behind you 100%. This is why I dont use downers. I never went through agonizing hell to come off the coke. Staying off the coke however.........

I firmly believe it gets easier when you have people to reassure you. How are you holding up? Have you eaten?
