Hello.... I have a question... Someone gave my friends some "4 20" bars... They don't smoke or drink, and this person thought it was "funny" to see them high... Now they're sick, but won't go to the doctor... How long do the effects of hash stay with a person?? They're all older... Were told to try some great chocolate..

If it's just hash then he should be fine within 18-36 hours, I'd think. Is he physically ill or just way too high for his own comfort?
Was the hash smoked, eaten, vaporized? I think it most likely too take much too high of a dose with an edible, and then that risk is multiplied by the amazingly high potency of hash. Most likely he just "overdosed," but even then I'd imagine it uncommon to get physically ill... maybe nauseous, a headache, anxiety, but I'm not sure about much more than that.

Have your friends try taking a shot shower or bath and just relax, there's not much you can do to wear off a high. I once got physically ill from a gravity bong hit because I was much too high and went to sleep to wait it out. I suggest they do the same.

Its hard for us to properly answer since we dont know what exactly is in a "420 bar". You say hash but you should find out for sure. If they have no tolerance and it was against their will then they probably are sick just due to no tolerance.
But your friend should be aware that if they have a job where they get drug tested than this could show up in a test for up to 90 days. Thats how long cannabis can stay in the system, though it all varies.
But I cant tell you about how to pass a test or anything so just be advised.
