First of all let me say, I did not have a sitter during this experience, and I know that was wrong. I highly recommend having someone with you just to supervise to prevent any injuries.
This was not my first time doing salvia. It was maybe my fourth. But the first two times were nothing too exciting, just some intense giggling, and the third time was a lot better but nothing compared to this time.
I was in my dorm room alone, door locked, lights turned low. I sat in my desk chair and took a hit from my bowl using a torch lighter, held it in for as long as I could (somewhere around 45 seconds). Even before I exhaled I felt the effects coming on. I immediately felt heavy, but somehow I pulled myself away and onto my bed. I listened to The Orb, this great trippy artist, and chilled. As I started to come down, I decided to take another hit. This is when things got crazy.
I laid down on the floor, put in earplugs, and closed my eyes. I can't remember everything that I saw but it involved walking into a room that wasn't quite solid; instead it was made out of beautiful purple and green colors, almost like neon lights.
When I opened my eyes finally, I looked over at my bed. And not only did it look back at me, but it spoke to me. I supposed the way the sheet hung over the side and the bolts in the frame made it look like a face, and the sheet-mouth flapped at me, speaking incomprehensible gibberish in an annoyed-motherly tone. I just kind of watched it in disbelief, until I started coming down.
Afterward I had a nice afterglow of happiness and calmness until I faded down to complete sobriety.
After that I didn't really have a desire to do it again. It's been awhile so now I'd consider finishing off what I had left of that stuff. Definitely an intense drug when done right, and I wouldn't recommend it to people as a beginner hallucinogen.
