40mgs of oxycodone..didnt feel anything?!

I took 30 mgs of oxycodone yesterday..felt bomb as hell...i popped 2 10mg pills and around 15 mins later chewed one...lasted about 2-1/2hrs...then today i took 40mgs...around the sametime as yesterday...popped 2 10mgs pills..chewed 1 all at once...then chewed another 1 like 25mins later...i felt a lilwarm...but nothing like yesterday...yesterday i was nodding off etc...i barely ever take painkillers...yesterday i had a stomach ache after..so today i ate before i popped them...did my tolerance build up tht fast? They were percocets jus fyi...i dont understand why i didnt feel shit...should i have waited a cuple days before i dosed again??.

dosing in separate segments could be it, along with a combination of tolerance. i know when i take oxycodone, i have to take my dose all at once, then 6-12hrs later dose again
i wake up at ~6-8am, dose 30mg, then dose again around 5-6pm. anything in the middle is a waste to me, and nothing is felt. i have a dose schedule, first on wake up, then sometime after 6. if i dose more than 30-60mg, its only a 15mg bump. but all dose is at once

Don't keep redosing, just take the entire planned dose at once. You should have also waited a few days before taking it again. Remember that nothing will beat your first experience.

I remember when I first stared out doing oxycontin I did a 20 mg my first night and felt really nice, but than I did another 20 mg the day after and did not feel shit. I think it might have something to do doing the oxy so soon after you last dosed, IF your just starting out on opioids. I know the more you do it that will go away and you can do as much as you want day in and day out and still feel it.

Actually, my Vicodin doses a week after my original doing was better than my first time.
