Ok I haven't done this in like three months. Since my kratom won't come until Monday I wanted something to do. So I went to the store and got a 4 oz bottle of robitussin DM . Now am I going to trip? I properly will but I have zero tolerance to this stuff.
 
A 4 oz bottle of Robitussin contains approximately 400 mg in the bottle. That is enough to reach the 2nd Plateau which will make you feel disconnected from the world with a slight sense of euphoria. If you are in it for the Visuals and hallucinations, I would not expect much, I would recommend (2) 4 oz bottles of Robitussin or (1) 5oz bottle of Delsym which is both 800mg of DXM which is enough to have a good trip.

I think that contains DXM doesn't it? It can make people "trip" on high doses yes, but it can be scary and some people find it quite unpleasant. Are you planning on taking the whole bottle?
 
I used to trip on cough medicine a lot when i was a kid, and there really is no answer to your question as-is. firstly you should tell the mg of dxm per ml of fluid so you can know exactly how many mg are inside it. Secondly bodyweight is a HUGE factor in robotripping, there are tons of calculators online that tell you the approximate amount of mg/lb you will need to reach your desired plateau.
 
I just bought the new 6 oz bottle of Delsym. Mind you it is DM and I can't find any real info on it. Will it do the same thing as robitussin and crap like that. I plan this to be the last time I do it for awhile so I'm just trying to keep my organs.
