4-MMC was just on the most current episode of CSI: Miami.

A kid happened to buy what he was told was ecstasy but ended up being GHB mixed with 4-MMC, and the kid overdosed.

They made clear that they found an 'unscheduled' drug called Mephedrone but I can see that this drug is getting some lime light and it's putting fear into people who don't even understand it.

It's unfortunate that people look at RC's and think it's just goes hand in hand with the new age synthetic drug movement... if people would just research the drugs and decide if they were something they'd like to do instead of blindly taking what they are told to be this or that, we'd have a much safer community of drug users.

Anyway, I can see that soon parents will start asking about these drugs more, and Miami is not a bad place to be cutting the drugs with since it can easily replace other cuts, but then you're giving someone unknown amounts of the drug and are just asking for a murder charge.

It reminds me of this guy around my area who was selling 2C-I as 'shroom pills' - I found the guy who was dealing them and told him if he doesn't tell people what they really are I will make sure he wished he did ;)

Just another reason you should always know what you're handling, how to handle it, and not to give it to another person, especially without them having knowledge of what it actually is.

Ridiculous. What form was the ecstasy in? Who puts GHB in rolls, has that EVER happened? lol What a silly thing to mix those two drugs together.
Maybe it was a SUPER RAPE pill; the Mdrone is to loosen up inhibitions, so as to possibly make rape unnecessary, and why not throw in some G to ensure the sexual assault? 8) Not that GHB is often used for sexual assault; which I have read it is not. Propaganda propaganda propaganda. :|

How much/ many of this drug mixture did the kid ingest? I've never had GHB, but know of it's potential for overdose and death; but god DAMN i have abused retarded amounts of mephedrone and I'm still here. Insufflated too, I'll assume the "victim" ate his rolls.

Western society has succeeded in making standard the belief that all drug use = bad and must be persecuted against.

isn't 4-MMC already illegal in the U.S.? I know the UK and other European countries have banned it and made it illegal.... So what, is it still legal for the US??

Technically speaking, 4-AcO-DMT is a research chemical that is similar by sight to 2C-I, active in the same dosage range, and could be called "shroom pills" with a reasonable degree of accuracy. Given that it's all just white powder, how do we know it wasn't that?

Just playing devil's advocate.

On topic, I wouldn't really expect any less from network TV.

The super rape rolls were a joke. Just thinking abstractly about the facts of the episode.

I just write in a passionate way. In my mind, my posts are being written with sarcastic humor.

That aside, what form was the drugs in, and how much of it did the kid consume and with what ROA? I don't plan on watching the episode.

But legit... don't like Florida. :p ;)

Sorry phrozen, haven't been around in a while - but no excuse for not writing this up correctly.

I just saw the episode and thought to post it in the media forums.

And to answer the question about what form is was in, it was in pill form.

And about the 'shroom pills' yes I know there are analogues that are very similar to psilocybin but 2C-I is not, and I knew it was 2C-I. Regardless, giving people RC's and not telling them what they really are is dangerous. Imagine someone cutting an oz. of cocaine with a 2c or something even more active [mg per mg] like the DOx's? It would be very very bad.

Seen this and just had to watch it.

The part at the beggining with the dietary supplement was kind of funny, i'm sure that will start happenening at huge parties in the US soon lolz.

I agree though, the GHB was ridiculous. No one is going to mix a upper n a downer and try to sell it as ecstasy. Especially this drug food chain in the show, this drug got passed through like 3 other people and all of them just thought it was 'ecstasy' they got sold.
