It should be more similar to 5-MeO-DMT rather than to 4-HO-DMT.
Based on my experience with 4-MeO-MiPT and 5-MeO-MiPT, I would suppose that it has less profound effects on mind and even less visual effects.

wikipedia says that 4-MeO-DMT is much weaker than 4-HO-DMT (psilocin) and 5-MeO-DMT.

I updated this wiki page because there was an erroneous mentioning of psilocybin as a metabolite but the correction. Without planning on it I also added extra information and speculation. Or you might call it educated suggestion perhaps. But I got a bit carried away and am not sure if I made errors or passed off guesses too much as fact - anyone with some understanding on such subjects is welcome to check it, I'd appreciate it.

oh wow you went in! i, sadly, cannot comment on any of the technical information. i suspect much of what you have added under "see also" will be removed due to being off topic (ie too in depth for wikipedia). glad i got to read it tho.
