RCs 4-MEC (4-Methylethcathinone) Megathread (v1)

My fiancé and I find that snorting 100mg lines every hour or two is perfect. In our opinion it's better than 4-mmc. More euphoric and has much less of a comedown. This evening we're trying 4-mmc and 4-mec together. So far their's been great results. I'll post later with an update.

Yes, yes, and yes! Having a chance to test this material I have to say it reminded me quite a lot of MDA, but if MDA was less psychedelic and made compulsively re-dose for a good four hours.

Does anyone know the neurotoxicity of this compound though? Most likely not touching this stuff for a while but I am just wondering what the downsides of this chemical may be.
 
How is the comedown after this? And the following days - does one feel more drained than after mephedrone? This stuff seems to be sold quite a lot so it is really surprising that there are so few report around here...

I recently acquired some 4-MEC, and I thought i might as well test it out as here where i live, (country wise) everything is shit pills, and you can pretty much get nothing else other than Meth. *snip* I find that when snorted it gives you a completely different buzz to dropping it.saying that i was dropping it in 300mg doses and proberly 100mg lines. and wow i loved it and so did everyone i gave it to...... we allthough it was slose tO MDMA but the effects not lasting as long, ive taken it 3 times now with no comedown, and think its awsome.

to the people that rekon it's shit, you must be getting some crap stuff or just too picky when it comes to RC's....ive tried them all and rate this one pretty up there for buzz and comedown as there is no comedown.....

If you can get ya hands on it, do a 300mg cap and you'll have a whale of a time....

Too the guy who wrote that massive post on page 3, Thumbs up for sure exactly how i felt and would rate it

I found it pretty interesting actually. The first time I tried it I did 1g in a night, the next day I had a massive emotional comedown - crying, feelings of emptiness, depressing thoughts etc. Then the next time I did around 2.5g overnight, then went to sleep, woke up and everything was fine. Ever since I haven't had a comedown from 4mec. Same goes for my friend, the second time I tried it (2.5g) was her first time and she felt horrible the next day, but never again felt a comedown from it after that. Peculiar.
 
Plugging 200mg of this feels so fucking good. Such a nice rush. Made me grin like nothing else has for a long time. Other than that coming up feeling/rush it's nothing special.

I think IV users would really like this one
 
its the same shit that they have put in jolly green granules.....without binder of course. should be shards. an acetone wash should make it totally clear, making it look like meth. sometimes its brown though and depending on the isomer that can be BETTER.

4BMC is said to basically be half as strong as m1. right now 4mec 4emc bmc.....are all mephedrone skeletons that are being tweaked. sadly not much has come along with analogs of bk mdma. ethylone and butylone are utter fucking shit in my opinion, whereas m1 was the most wonderful thing ever.

MDEA is somehow not the same and mdec(ethyl cathinone) BUT when subbing it into the meph skeleton it actually creates something a bit like m1 since its basically wicked weak meph. hehe.
 
4-MEC IV is really wierd in my opinion. It gives a crazy fucking rush that isn't all that pleasant, my eyes start twitching uncontrollably. I also found that I blacked out.

I could be confusing this with another research stimulant but I'm pretty sure it was this one.
 
Could it be that I felt zero effects (at a dose that used to make me nicely high) of 4mec because I'm on a SSRI (50mg zoloft/day)?
 
^ Though we don't know much about it's pharmacology, it's quite possible that an SSRI would have a severe impact on the effects as it does feel very serotonergic.

Methylone and 4-MEC was a good combo, ~150mg of each with another 100mg of methylone at 1 hour and I was having a beautiful night... very relaxing, actually. :)

I've only just started experimenting, but from what I've read (including the product mixed with MDPV post earlier on in this thread) it seems as though 4-MEC is better when combined with other substances that give it a bit more push. You need to be careful doing this though, of course.
 
i would like to know if 4-mec is more dopaminergic or serotonergic ? i use methylone one a month, and 4-mec every week, so cross tolerance between Methylone and 4-mec ?
 
Its more serotonin affecting than dopamine. Thats kinda why theres a lot of mda feel to it. Even though I think its nothing like mda. Its ok but it got my a pretty badinfection so I dont like it and wouldn't touch the garbage even though it felt really nice the gross dysphoria and illness sucked asss. Anyway yea its more serotonin feeling IMO

4-mec gives both the situmulation and the euphoria. but there is just something not right with it. the effects are not as comfortable as you have like the 4-mmc legend or the bk-mdma. Still preferable as a legal substance. the thing is bombing also works well but as I've always been a conservative (irrational sometimes) snorter i didnt get the same boost with bombing. and i must add, it really screws my nasal way. regarding the nasal way, nothing is more comfortable than bk-mdma. I highly recommend to mix it with bk-mdma. in conclusion, a little tricky substance but quite preferable in this dark ages :)
 
I was a HEAVY meph user when it was around *tear, and now I use 4FA pretty often, which isn't really anything like good ol meph, but I like it as far as RC's go, so I might try and order some 4MEC, sounds like the price is right from all of these accounts. Thank you everyone for your detailed descriptions!

p.s.- on a side note, I still haven't been able to find anything that made me as horny as meph did- i miss that fuck everything feeling!
 
Alright, I think this is one of my first five posts, so I wouldn't even blame anyone for thinking I'm a shill, but here goes anyway:

I LOVE 4-MMC. Love it, absolutely hands down my favorite party drug to socialize with (MDMA/4-AcO-DMT are my all times favorites period, but more for raves and meditation, respectively). But I also live in the USA, and getting it is a huge hassle which has kept my consumption down to almost zero (probably good, seeing as how I love it so much and its so moreish). I saw this and decided to give it a shot. Bought a gram, sold most to a friend who wanted it more than me. but tried a ~50 mg line with 30 mg MXE. It was fun, but a lot of the euphoria was the MEC.

Then I got another few grams, this time deciding I'd keep it for myself. I did about 90 mg with minimal effect, and was hugely disappointed. 120, still barely even felt anything. Big yellow crystals, well-reviewed source, definitely real stuff.

Well, last night me and my girl were just hanging out with some netflix. We decided to try a double dose before totally giving up on this drug. So I measured out 200 mg for us each, and we railed 'em.

Oh. My. GOD. The burn was EVIL and horrible, but once it wore off (bout 5 minutes) to an ignorable level, the rush was JUST like 4-MMC. Well, okay, not quite as insane, but about 80% the euphoria, the rush, the shivers, and overall amazing quality.

We did another 150 mg line every 2 hours...heavenly. Beautiful. Gorgeous. If I had known it would be this great, I wouldn't have deliberated for so long before purchasing.

The only downside is having to snort so much to get an effect, its so painful. Worth it though.
 
Thanks for all the reports on 4-mec, its interesting how some people are disappointed by it and some think its pretty good. Sounds like the verdict is that railing 150mg+ doses provides the best rush. I'm wondering though whether a bigger oral dose might not give a similarly good rush, or is it that the two experiences are qualitatively different i.e. a heroic oral dose will still not be as good as a railed dose.. Any insights on this?

Edit: I just read back through the thread and sounds like railing and bombing are qualitatively different no matter what the dose. I'll report back on the difference once i've had the chance to try both.
