4 FA & similar substances

I was just wondering the other day if 4 FA or any other para-substituted amps could be synthesized into meth somehow? I dont have any experience or in-depth knowledge concerning chemistry, so I hope this isnt an absolutely moronic question. Just wondering, really...
 
Short answer: no. It's near impossible to remove a specific halogen off most molecules.

Just eat the 4-FA and be happy with it =D
