Hey there I'm curious to hear how long this tryptamine lasts for other people? In Tihkal it's listed as 3 hours at the most but when I took some of it with some friends the other day it lasted 5 to 6 hours! The effects were spot on otherwise for iprocetyl. There were other friends of mine that took 4-HO-MET, and there was very definitely some 'cross-pollination' if you will, in the sense that even though we were tripping on two different chemicals our trips' effects became similar, but the unusual longevity of the iprocetyl can't be simply written off as placebo. I know when I'm tripping and when I'm coming down, and that was roughly at the fifth hour of tripping. The come down was indeed fast as noted by Shulgin.
Anyone else have similar experiences with the duration of iprocetyl?
EDIT: I just went back to confirm my suspicion and it was indeed 4-hydroxy, not 4-acetoxy-dipt that is listed in Tihkal. I've never before held a strong opinion eiher way about whether or not the acetoxy is chopped off the 4 position of tryptamines before it enters the brain. It makes me wonder if the acetoxy migh produce longer effects.
Further, the first half of the trip seemed to be qualitatively different from the second. Might this be due to the aco-dipt reaching the brain followed by it's 4-ho metabolite reaching the brain?
