Just in case it turns out like one of the pyrrolidine analogues iof the diakyltryptamines, I'd suggest starting with under a milligram.

You may say I'm too cautious, but I've reached my 40's without frying my brain and in fact it still seems in good working order which isn't the case with some friends who have been less cautious, even to the point of recklessness. Starting under 1mg will only mean an extra few days till you find the active dose. Surely you can spare a few days in the interest of your health...

shulgin's methodology was to start at a miniscule dose and to double it until there's a response, and then proceed cautiously from there (this is what I personally trust)... so your dosing'd go like this: 1mg, 2mg, 4mg, 8mg, etc

As long as you start at a low enouhj point, the idea of increasing the dose by a power of two will ensure that you don't suddenly go from no activity to 'you took too much man!'. Leave 3 days inbetween each test and go up 1mg; 2mg; 4mg; 8mg; 16mg; 32mg; 64mg; 128mg. It's possible to go up from 1mg to 128mg (if needed to go that far) in 21days. going up a mg at a time, you could conceivably use up your whole supply before finding the active dose (and it'll take forever)

No, but as it isn't analogous to the N,N-dialkyltryptamines, it's pointless taking chances

But theres a bigger chance the acetyl will move to the primary amine to form the acetamid.So don't make it basic.

Well, the IUPAC name for AET is 1-(1H-indol-3-yl)butan-2-amine

I don't know if it changes so drastically with the simple addition of an acetoxy group. Please don't consume this stuff egor untill someone more knowledgeable here can confirm that what you have is indeed 4-AcO-AET
