I consumed 4.5g apap over a 24 period via 2.5g dose at the 12 hour mark and then 2g 12 hours later. I realize that I fucked up and needed to do a CWE. Its now 32 hours after consumption of the first dose and I have none of the expected side effects, am i clear?

I'm 19, don't drink often, and am overall healthy.

You will be fine, going .5 grams over the limit won't hurt you unless you already have liver problems or are a heavy drinker or something.

There's a thread just like this on this front page as well, ha ha.

ETA: Just for your information, it can take a couple of days for the effects of an APAP overdose to become apparent.

Yeah I just was skeptical when reading other threads because I really dont understand what to expect from side effects. One source was saying that it can take 48 hours for any side effects at all to hit? Another was saying 12-24 hours and one should have chest pain or jaundice. I'm just curious as to which one is correct because its all over the place.

See thats what makes no sense to me. There's no medical certainty to the point where the gap is as large as 12-48 hours? What causes such ridiculous variability?

It's all over the place because everyone reacts differently, depending on their own body, their own health, etc...

I would say that usually you would experience a lot of nausea and vomiting, then feel a bit better for a day or two before starting to experience symptoms of multiple organ failure.

Alright. I've been feeling great so I guess i got nothing to worry about except to just lay off booze for the next month.

Also is it beneficial to the liver to be constantly hydrated?

^ I wouldn't even worry about that. You are fine, unless you suddenly take a whole bunch of APAP now or drink a lot of alcohol now you are going to be fine.

I've been doing cold water extractions (CWEs) daily for almost three years, and sometimes doing them really dodgy as well... probably getting some level of APAP in my body everyday. And I drink a lot as well. I had my liver tested and it came up all OK. As long as you don't overload it too much in one go, your liver is remarkably resilient.

Yeah it just sort of sketched me out and put me in anxiety mode reading all this crap saying I could die and that it would be painful and sudden with little to be done about it. Guess its good that I'm getting afraid of this crap so I don't my liver in a shitty situation again.

It can depend on a variety of factors from the foods you've eaten recently to your enzymatic profile. The process of toxicity is medically clear, it's just the external manifestation of symptoms that can vary in time of onset.
