RCs 3meoPCP/Alcohol - Personality disorder??

Hi BL; Long time lurker here.

I figured given this recent experience, BL would be the best to gain some knowledge...

I have a friend who drank quite a bit of alcohol and snorted a good amount of 3meoPCP 3 times over a period of a day.

He does not remember a whole lot but his girlfriend told me he was acting out of character..

Not aggressive or really bad in any way. But he took on the character of a french man (he is not french), with a french accent and was very 'promiscuous' in nature.

Is this a typical 'manic' effect of such drug? Was he just goofing around in his own world and not realizing what he was doing or is this a potentially underlying issue brought out? A multiple personality disorder is the main worry as to how legitimate not only the speech (accent) was, but how defined as a character this 'person' was in comparison to the actual subject.

Your friend is most likely fine. 3-MeO-PCP is a very powerful chemical, as little as 10mgs is enough to take me out of reality for a good while. Mixing it with alcohol is definitely not a good idea and probably contributed to his odd behavior.

Indeed - I have experienced it myself in doses no larger than 20mg sublingually/oral. I have had very pleasant experiences and not mixed with alcohol, where i could function properly to some extent in public such as grocery stores.

I don't know how much he had railed though I will say it was probably more than anticipated, and also with the alcohol could instigate erratic behaviour.

But I was curious, as oppose to just straight up dumb/out of it behaviour, if the fact he was acting as another person entirely could be explained on a scientific level, or if he was just really messed up.. if that makes sense.

For what it's worth, he has no lasting effects and is entirely normal at this point. But there was a period of a few hours in which, what I was told, he was very much a different person. Different speech style, different mentality (obvious), different identity if you will. I was told a name was not given or mentioned to this identity, so he was probably just fucked up. But perhaps prying could have dug farther into what was going on in his head.

Just curious more than anything. Is this type of effect normal? Or rather, is it a potential with how this chemical acts on the brain? Or was he just a mess and playing around and forgot what he was doing?
