The first time I did cocaine I was very angry and depressed during a festival, drunk but in no mood to party, and I was offered a key of cocaine, snorted it (50mg, maybe less) and only a few minutes afterwards my troubles were gone, I felt great and confident, no apparent jaw clenching but definitely jitterish and excited.
The second time, the other night, three of us bought a gram of cocaine. We snorted it all, split even for twelve lines, four lines for each . They claim to have been really high and felt great.
I had been drinking, but research shows that cocaine and alcohol mixed will create a reaction in the liver and create the chemical coca-ethylene. Which has almost the same effects as cocaine and even lasts longer. I felt a slight numbing in my throat, other than that, the mood was no different from how I had been all night, before taking cocaine. I had no jaw clenching, no excitation or any conscious awareness of any change in my mood, state of mind or body except the throat numbing.
I know people have different reactions to drugs, meaning I could be on the low-end of cocaine appreciation, but the vast difference between that small key and those four lines must mean something else, and the fact that my friends claim to have been really high makes me doubt that it was a bad batch.
I'm no neuroscientist, so correct me if I'm wrong. But this leaves me with different reactions depending on time and place, or rather the mood, as I said, I was feeling down the first time but having a blast the second. But I doubt that has any effect on the dopamine reuptake inhibitions of cocaine. In fact, while having a good time, dopamine release should be more, therefore more reuptake to inhibit. After this experience, I have preferred speed over cocaine. Has anyone had a similar experience? Any comments are appreciated. Thanks.
