I have a friend that is new to IVing and is contemplating shooting one of these. I know nothing about the subject and would like to discourage him with facts. I know shooting in general is not safe especially at his level. He has shot IVed the blue 30s with no problems, but these are supposedly compounded 32mgs oxy/5mgs maybe apap maybe dextrose..he don't know! Is this "safe" or should I go ahead and call an ambulance? I have a feeling he's gonna do it regardless of what I say...any input would be great!

Well aside from whatever else is in them (which could be very very important) the 32mg of oxy in them won't be much different than him IVing the blue 30mg oxycodones. I would tell him though, that it is important to find out what else is in them. Being that they are compounded it could be absolutely anything in there with the oxy...why does he assume that it is APAP or dextrose? Tell him the whole point of compounding medications is because they can make a med specifically for a person...for all he knows it is someones pain med put together with their diabetes or heart medication..

Thinkin same thing!! He said he was only gonna do half at first..smh! I abuse pills as well but don't IV. Trying to come up with some blues to trade him..

He said the guy he got them from said he "thinks" its apap. Wow!..thinks!! If it were, would 5mgs ..or 2.5 be bad?. He's only been using needles for about 2months. I screenshot this and sent it to him hopefully he comes to his friggin senses!!

As long as he uses cold water, the amount of apap in the solution SHOULD be...very little.

i wouldn't mess with it if your not sure whats the other active ingredient
