30mg codeine pills

I took 3 30 MG codiene pills and was wondering how long it takes for it to kick in, it's been almost 2 hours now and haven't felt much at all.
 
I agree with everyone else, 90mg isnt much and you should feel something within 30 mins.

Im also curious what your opiate tolerance is. Most people settle in the range of 200-400mg based on tolerance.
 
should make you a little tired but thats it. codeine is a weird one and most of the time they put caffeine with codeine to kinda balance it out.
 
Was it pure 30mg of Codeine Phosphate? Did it have any APAP/Paracetamol in it? Did it have any caffeine in it?

60mg is a therapeutic dose for pain so I wouldn't expect to get high on jus 90mg, though you may feel a bit warm and fuzzy.

If it's not kicked in within 2 hours, you're either not taking pure 30mg Codeine Phosphate pills, you've got an opiate tolerance, or some other bizarre reason.
 
Codeine's weak bruh. I've used to take 300mg with CPM on top of weed to get really poured up.
I say poured up cuz I used to sip pure linctus.

And I had no tolerance to it btw. I used to take it once a week on each Friday to avoid tolerance and addiction. But the drug is shit.

Don't even get me started on taking codeine by ITSELF. That is total failure! Lol.

Gonna disagree, if you have a low tolerance, a proper dose of codeine (preceeded 45minutes by 60 - 80mg of DXM to potentiate and a low dose antihistamine to kill the nausea and itching) can feel quite amazing. Throw in a low dose of a benzo (ideally valium, in my experience, it has the same soft feel, and enough calming sedation to add to the nod without the heavy knockout of something like xanax) and you've got the recipe for someone's first nod :D Remember, at least part of the active effect from codeine is due to morphine, which is a capital ''O'' Opiate, not kiddy shit. The problem is the ceiling dose (although the uniformity of this is being debated, albeit going off anecdotal examples).

Of course if you've messed around with other opiates before then your tolerance is gonna make it trickier.

Also, there's a small percentage of the population which cannot metabolize codeine into it's active metabolites, and as such they get zero opioid effect from it. Your chance of falling into this percentage depends on your genetic background - for Europeans, it's 7 - 10%. Lower I believe in Asia, but extensive studies haven't been done. Must suck ass for the unlucky bastard who falls into that percentage, goes to the dentist to have his mouth mauled with needles and drills and all that foul machinery, only to be handed a script for 30mg codeine pills and told that they should help with the pain. He pops them, feels the effect of a panadol, and if he rings the dentist and admits this the dentist will probably assume that the codeine didn't work because he's a ''drug abuser'' with a tolerance and refuse him any further help, instead of recognizing the problem, taking pity and giving him a low dose of oxycodone or morphine (I believe, although I'm not certain, that tramadol and hydrocodone also require the CYP2D6 enzyme to function to some extent, but I know little about either drug so I could be totally off the mark).

Lol when I say codeine by itself I mean codeine by itself.
Obv if you potentiate the shit out of it, it will then produce good effects.

I personally did 300mg followed by Cpm followed by Valium and didn't "nod".
When I think about nod I think about 45mins after ingesting 20mg hydro and then smoking a cigarette while knocking out on my hammock almost burning holes in my pants.

The codeine nod is so weak that you can "choose" to nod which I do not prefer. I prefer to "nod my face off"

Hence I do not like codeine and have vomited the last time I've done it and sworn it off. (It's prob just cuz I vomited I quit lol)

Hydrocodone is definitely stronger than codeine but do you think maybe your body chemistry doesn't break down codeine quite as well as others? Maybe that's why you couldn't catch a good buzz on codeine by itself?

I've only had the phosphate pills w/o anything in them but its great for pain relief. As for getting high, everyone is different.

I wish doctors gave out codeine instead of tramadol.......then again, my body chemistry doesn't break down tramadol well at all while others it does.
