3 weeks of 10/325 percocet - withdrawal coming?

Hey folks,

I was in a pretty bad car accident about a month ago and I was prescribed 60 10/325 percocets, with 2 refills, I have taken them for about 3-4 weeks and they are just about gone.

It comes to about 5-6 a day for a month, what type of withdrawal am I in for would you imagine?

When I wake up in the morning there is some discomfort until i take the first pill, but I havent had any serious symptoms even on days where I only take two or 3.

Am I in for a serious episode of detox? Thanks in advance for the help~!

Please don't bump your own thread. If you haven't read the OD Guidelines I'd suggest you do so.

As for your questions you will likely have some symptoms but they won't be as severe as someone with a heavier habit, and the relatively short length of time you've been on them will work well in your favour. There is no way we can pinpoint exactly what you will or won't experience though. Everyone has different level of difficulty dealing with withdrawal and broadly guessing at what will happen to you isn't really productive.

I'm going to close this thread now as you will get a lot more out of reading other peoples experiences (especially that part about where a lot of it is in your head so don't over think it) and suggest you read this thread
The Opioid Withdrawal Megathread and FAQ
and looking into performing a quick taper with your remaining meds so that you ease any problems you might face going cold turkey.

Good luck and if you have any questions or concerns feel free to PM me.
