3-methoxy-4-methylamphetamine

Has anyone ever heard of 3-methoxy-4-methylamphetamine (MMA). It's a psychedelic amphetamine. It seems pretty interesting to me. Its similar to MDMA, LSD, DOM, nd MBDB. It's a non-neurotoxic subsitute for MDMA. Supposedly it's sold by research chemical vendors. Has anyone ever tried this or have seen it on a research chem website (no sources)? I'd like to try it.

I've heard of it but that's as far as my knowledge goes, I wonder how psychedelic it is

Seems to be vaguely similar to MMDA. Some like it, some hate it; as with many psychedelic/entactogens, MMA exhibits pleasant, entactogen-like effects at low doses whereas higher doses are trippy but uncomfortable. These compounds never become popular because drug users as a rule like to be able to take more and more, so MMA disappeared from the RC market shortly after it appeared.

We don't seem to have a compilation thread about this compound at the moment, but there was a long thread in Advanced Drug Discussion when it first appeared.

I quite liked it at doses 30-40 mg. It lasted a long time, 10-12 hours if I remember correctly. The first 3 hours or so it was mostly like a low dose psychedelic and then it shifted into a calm entactogenic stimulant.
Only ever seen it sold one place, which closed when the vendor passed away. A real shame as he was a very nice guy.
