<3 how music can bring back feelings of a roll

>>>Jaytech - Pepe Garden<<<

>>>DJ Fire - The Closest Thing to Heaven<<<

>>>Darren Tate (DT8 Project) - Hold you till the end<<<

I know they are all trancy, but this is where it all started for me. Warm rushes of chemical bliss and pure enlightement. I felt what they now call love for the first time ever in my life...plus I had just introduced my friends to it....everyting was incredible.

In late 2006 we Used to set up our whole apt with blacklights, blue xmas lights, Ultra 5 min high intensity glowsticks, fuzzy sweaters, pillows, blankets, lots of weed, plenty of pure tested beans, moar glowsticks, and mint chewing gums, and of course some Armin Van Burren rocking the subs. (We didnt give a FUCK about what the neighbors cared, this was down at my old place in venice beach) =D

We even got a couple of the girls to bring fruit smelling body mist...I remember this girl would spray cucumber melon mist on me and then make out with me and ill NEVER forget that smell or the glitter she left on my body.

Everything was so pure.

Didnt comedown dow months

So I had my first experience rolling at Bonnaroo this year for Jay-Z's performance (and Deadmau5 after) and lets just say that 5 months after I had quite an awesome flashback.

I was at the gym working out with my iPod on shuffle and "Numb/Encore" by Jay-Z came on (which was his encore at the show, go figure). No shit....my whole body was flooded with warmth, every hair on my body stood up and I got goosebumps, and the back of my head tingled just like it did when I was rolling. It lasted like 5-10 seconds but WOW. Such a great experience.

Just to add...although hearing Numb/Encore gave me chills, this was the moment that will never be topped in my life:

I was making out with a girl that I met there, fireworks were exploding all around us, and every single line of that song couldn't have been more fucking perfect for the moment.

After that song, I looked at the girl and told her that everything from this point on in my life....is downhill.

MDMA....I love you.

When there is a massive coming up, I slowly turn into raver mode. About a week before it's about to go down, I get verrrrry happy. Putting on the right tunes can literally put butterflys in my stomach, a chill down my spine, and I lose my breath, all while a smile washes over my face.

It's insane. Thank you MDMA.

"The Sound of San Francisco" by Global Deejays does it for me every time.
Love that song. It brings back so many good memories with good friends. =D

Not to hijack or anything but rolling and going from Bassnectar directly to Crystal Method this year at Bonnaroo was the shit. I got separated from my crew because there was this awesome human dancing alone and she looked like she needed somebody to dance with. Then I spent the night Wanderoo. Moments that will live in history.

ob. I always get x "flashbacks" for a few days after a rave when I'm listening to something with heavy bass.

all this wonderful nonsense let's me know I'm not alone in this feeling.
I've always loved techno (far before I ever tried mdma) but the music has an uplifting feeling for me, it reminds me of days gone by, and of the future (I look forward very much to the next time I roll)
Its been far too long, so I'm planning ahead by making the best tracklist for the roll to come
Might even be my last time, who knows.
