3 day meth binge now vision is fucked

I did a search but couldn't find anything like this. I had a couple of big binges on meth lately as well as ketamine, ghb, ecstacy and speed.
Anyway, its been about a week now since my last one and my vision is really fucked up, especially in twilight. Everything is quite blurry at more than a few metres away....Anyone heard of this before?
 
Meth (and most rec drugs) depletes the body's stores of vitamins and minerals - night vision is highly dependant on vit. A, so try taking some (max dosage as on the labell) for a week and see if it improves things for you. If not, go to a doc, if possible.
 
It should come back if you lay off for a bit. Methamphetamine will screw up your ability to accommodate or focus. The retina is not affected so dosing up with vitamins won't help the blur diminish faster.
 
its happened to me..i had to wear them servo station glasses to even focus..it only happened while on meth as soon as i came down it went away..its to do with impurities..muchly metals left in the drug..I.E lithium
 
Actually, Methamphetamine is a smooth muscle relaxant (amongst lots of other things). It is smooth muscle (which is different from the muscle that moves your arms and legs), that focuses the lens of your eyes. So when these type of muscles are not working, you are unable to focus, and so things appear blurry.

This is the same reason why your bowel shuts down when you are on Meth. The peristaltic bowel movements are the result of smooth muscle.

depending on how much you intake, the route of administration and the frequency of use, will determine on how long they effects will last....

Plenty of rest, and sensible eating will do wonders..
 
Not sure about that. I know when I did it my bowels were pretty good! Seemed to "speed" things up. Opiates on the other hand....
 
im the only one out of my friends that gets fucked vision on meth binges
my eyes get extremly dry and my eyelids feel like they got weights hanging off them
i used to fight it with having another burn (as having a burn is the answer to everything when on ice) but once my vision was so bad that whatever my focal point was would break into kaleidascope vision and i had to keep asking if i was cross eyed it was that hard to focus i seriously felt like i was crosseyed but everyone said my eyes were normal but bloodshot
since then i try and have 5-30 minute shut eye and then a shower and i get a bit of gluggy build up in my eyes but then my vision goes back to normal
 
On meth binges I typically IV about every 5 hours and smoke a bubble or two between shots. My vision will start to blur (along with shadow creatures/people and bugs all appearing periodically) around the end of day 3 consistantly. I have noticed though that if I spend too long carpet-tweaking with my eyes focused on something close to my face for a long period of time I will have horribly blurry long-range vision for a while after I finally stop stalking pebbles that I think are shards....
 
meth scares the living shit out of me. Even seeing the writing on the screen makes me shake....ya ya, I'm a pussy i know lol
 
makes sense when i take high dose adderall my vision is actually improved can focus more easily, your vision seems to be directly caused by the meth withdrawal from the high
 
Meth should scare the hell out of everyone!! I'm a recovering addict of 15 yrs. I've been clean 18 months. I still cant drive at night. Headlights, traffic lights, street lights blinds me! Everything still has a shadow. One good thing is that I still have my teeth!! HeHe
