Hi all, i am going to take ~250ug of acid tomorrow for my birthday but I only tried 1mg 25c a while ago. Does all the visual effects start waning off around ~6 hours to the trip or does it still go strong? If not, how long does it take usually?

250 ug is a lot for a first acid trip. At that dose, major visuals should last until the 6-8 hour mark and you may experience minor visuals until around the 12 hour mark. See Erowid.

read up on the LSD threads before going in. IMO acid is different than the nbomes so you should go in with different expectations.
and please start lower. 250ug of lsd is not too high of a dose, but for the inexperienced it might be a handful. 150ug might be more managable for a first timer, even less will do.

The actual peak can be over certainly before the 6 hour point but the plateau at which effects are still considerably strong can go on past the 6 hour point, maybe even 9 or longer depending on the judge. It just depends on how you look at it.
250 micrograms can be pretty heavy and 25C-NBOMe as limited prior experience is no guarantee at all. Yes as the stakes go up the trip can be more impressive, but that goes both ways. Be safe and have a nice one - have a happy birthday.

Hi all, thanks for the replies.

As with any psychedelic experience, I have been preparing for this day well. I am going to have some close friends come over to babysit me so I feel as I should be safe but I shall take more precautions.

How do you know you are taking 250 mics?

I am going to take 4 tabs that is supposedly around "60-70ug" each.
