2mg Ativan + Fioricet

I have seen discussions about this combo + alcohol but I'm wondering about just these two. I took a 50-325-40mg fioricet orally (codeine not included) and railed 6mg of Ativan. I'm aware both are CNS depressants and act on GABA receptors slightly differently. How high of a dosage do I get to before I'm in serious danger of respiratory depression. I have done 22mg of Ativan alone in less than 24 hours once on accident (lost count of how many I had done until I counted the next day) and had no ill effects. But with the butalbital added, i'm curious about how additive the effects are.
 
Well it's addictive but won't up your addiction if you have one. I use to take 6 mg's of xanax with 200mg (the barb in fioricet) of fioricet. I was fine but really fucked up for like 12+ hours. So I think you'll be fine. Just take it slow and space it if you feel as thou it's right. What's your benzo tollerence?

Could you tell us your experience? How did it go? I'm asking also due to the fact that I'm worried when I give advice about combining CNS depressants, even though it won't kill you but is for SURE not suggested. Especially if one or the other is at a high dose/both are really high dose.
 
With the dosages I took, i couldn't tell a huge difference in how I felt. Basically just a little "out of it". Noticed some slower thinking and movement. When I did the 22 of just the ativan, I had an extremely noticeable euphoric feeling. Even physical pain was lessened dramatically. It was just an incredible calm. And my benzodiazepine tolerance appears to be relatively high. My tolerance for narcotics and opiates is also higher due to a lot of trial advertorial with high doses for chronic back pain. Nothing I was put on touched the pain. Because my tolerance seems to be higher, i'my more concerned about side-effects when mixing distances because I have to take more. Currently at bed time I'm taking 4mg ativan, 20mg ambien and only 1mg klonipin. I'm getting meds changes done this Friday so I'll see what happens with that and report back.
