(04-29) 19:31 PDT Los Angeles, CA (AP) –

Three people have been arrested in connection with two drug busts where authorities seized more than 100 pounds of methamphetamine and 85 pounds of heroin.

The state’s Bureau of Narcotic Enforcement raided a home in Torrance on Wednesday night and arrested Jorge Gonzalez and his wife Sarah Altamirano. Inside they found about 46 pounds of heroin, 38 pounds of meth, two pounds of cocaine and more than $33,000 in cash.

A search of the couple’s truck also found a suitcase containing 39 one-pound packages of powder heroin.

Agents also arrested Marco Alejo in Ontario in a separate bust Wednesday. Authorities found 81 pounds of meth hidden in a closet in an upstairs bedroom.

All three are being held on $1 million bail.

170 pounds of heroin. Wow. I would be good for a decade. Or dead in a day.
 
^ Its not the same powder you get on the east coast, that's for sure. We get powdered heroin every now and then, but its of the same quality (maybe a little better) than the crappy tar we get.

Damn! I was just read this article and was about to post it. All I can say is Damn!:D What a find! You all are welcome to the meth, (give it away-RHChili Peps)but I think the deisel, I'll be keeping ;) and prolly the 2 measly pounds of coke too. Ya nevah know when a nice speedball might hit the spot! (like right now!) The 33k in cash is a nice sideline too.

Yeah its a pretty amazing amount of drugs. Its hard to think about how it would feel to be the guys caught. They can't really tell on 'da man' because they are 'da men'. They've probably felt freedom for the last time in a long time.

Wonder what it's like to be a cop and to see monster mounds of drugs and cash? When I get fat bags, I'm like damn, that's a lot of dope! And that's just a slightly than larger line, nothing like what 1 pound of powder would like! 8o

haha there is indeed an abnormally large population of opiate-users on BL proportionate to the rest of the drug using population. Mofos crack me up, but I tend to steer away from OD. Makes me feel dirty when I venture that way.
 
Sounds like a party to me. I know I would be having a hell of a time with just a pound of each, the cops could have the rest so they can get a "big bust" to show off, and I could stay hiiiiiggggghhhhhh
