2ci first time questions

Hello, I have used marijuana around 10+ times and would like to venture off into the psychedelic unknown. My reasons are intellectual and spiritual, not to get messed up. With that said I have some questions and concerns. How is 2ci as a first time psychedelic? Is it ever cut with anything? And overall would this be a good drug as my first psychedelic? Your responses are greatly appreciated

I think it would be great for a first psych. It's a lot of fun, nice visuals, great energy, but not much mindfuck. I found myself wandering into 711 and not feeling paranoid at all. To this day I haven't done a substance that makes lights seem as beautiful as 2ci. I remember on the comedown a sexual aspect emerged that topped even MDMA. My girlfriend and I look back to that trip a lot, it was a lot of fun. I remember it lasting about 8 hours, with the peak being from like 2-5 hours.

Yeah, it's a powder, so it can definitely be cut. Just order some yourself to be sure.

I'm pretty sure what I got was cut/something else. My tripping group of 3 experienced expected effects until around T+10.00 when we were all still having visuals. We experienced dilated eyes until T+14.00 to T+20.00 and couldn't sleep for until at least T+24.00 when most of us had things to do the next day. At T+35.00 it still took me an hour to fall asleep.

Make sure to get a decent mg scale and order from a respectable source.

2ci can be a good introduction to psychedelics, I don't find anything particularly spiritual about the experience but it can inspire creative/alternative thinking and music sounds great on it, the visual aspect tends to be somewhat lighter than many psychedelics at the doses i've done it at though 15-22 mgs.

2C-I was my first psychedelic, and I had some good trips on it. It is a magical and special substance for me. A good substance to think about various things, to enjoy music and visuals, to have fun.
But don't underestimate it, though it is "lighter" and less "mind-fuckey" than other psychedelics, it is still psychedelic, and its mental effects can be powerful.

I wouldn't recommend taking more than 16 mg for the first time. Start with 12-14 mg. And don't forget about proper set&setting!

Thank you for the help. I did not know it was available to be commercially ordered. I will probably go with that option because u hate the idea that the pill is cut with something I don't know.

Still looking forward to getting my hands on some, but I'd like to pass on what my friend experienced first hand a few years back: very heavy death/rebirth trip on 2C-I. So, even as it's know to be rather light on the psychedelia / mind fuck department, heavier doses (I think my friend dosed something aroud 25mg) can get... well, heavy depending on invidual reaction. Be safe, start low.
