2ce dosage and environment

Hi there. Just a few quick questions regarding 2ce.
I know there is a mega thread on here, even the dosage sub-thread is 24 pages long.
I am not very experienced with these types of drugs. Only had mushrooms once which I found quite overwhelming.
1/ should I do it alone? Or with some friends?
2/ where should I do it? Park? Beach? Club? Home?
3/ will I be obviously fucked if taken in a social environment?
4/ dosage and how best to admin? I have 5*10mg caps.
Any experiences/advice will be much appreciated.

I have a lot of experience with these phenethylamine psychedelics.

They are definitely best taken with a friend, although lower doses of phens aren't a real head fuck like mushrooms, you just don't know what to expect with new chemicals and we all react differently to the same substances. Having a friend around is always a good thing when playing with a new psychedelic.

Do it somewhere that you feel comfortable. If you are comfortable at home, do it at home, if you are comfortable at the beach do it there etc.

You will be obviously fucked in a social setting, that I can assure you.

10mg is a good starting dose with 2C-E. Some people get full blown effects at this dosage, but for most it will be a noticeable, yet mild trip. I don't recommend taking 20mg (2 of your caps), 16mg tends to be very psychedelic for those who are new to this substance. Now days I like doses between 16-30mg, but this is after much experience with this substance (and it's other family members)

Expect mild nausea during the come up. Don't expect full effects before the 1.5-2hr mark. Phenethylamines do have a long come up time. Even longer than LSD. So DO NOT REDOSE BEFORE THE 2HR MARK, THINKING THAT YOU HAVEN'T HAD ENOUGH

A very long time indeed. The lower end of the scale for oral 2ce is around 9-10 hours. It is one of the longer lasting 2C-*'s, that's for sure...

It does depend on dosage, but I'd allow 15 hours from start of trip to sleeping time. The main part of the trip (visual) tends to decrease after the 6-7hr mark, but the stimulation can last for a few more hours. With 10mg you can hopefully sleep within 12 hours, it is always wise to allow more time though.

I really enjoy this phenethylamine, but the duration can be a real bitch if you are short of time.

Snorting it makes for a quicker onset and shorter duration, but phenethylamines are extremely painful to snort and i do not recommend this ROA.

I have vaporized it a couple of times which also shortens the duration and has an extremely quick come up, but you can suffer asthma like effects. This can be extremely scary on the come up of a strong psychedelic so I also suggest not doing this (I wont ever again). It's wise to halve the dosage for both vaporizing and snorting if you ever do go down that path.
 
Haha. Thanks guys. Really looking forward to tryin it. But with that sort of duration will have to wait a few weeks. What's the day after like? Are you able to function and get stuff done or do you need a day to lay around and contemplate?
 
I don't agree with that erowid vault (for once)

I find doses above 15mg last some 12hrs, actually longer than LSD (7-9hrs)

That's why I take the 2C-E first and then my LSD at the 1.5-2hr mark when I combo them. I usually can feel the 2C-E after the effects of the LSD wear off when I combo on that time line too.

It all depends on metabolism I guess, but most of my friends that are experienced with 2C-E would agree...

The day after is pretty good. Lack of sleep and a later than normal bed time (if you dose later than mid arvo) will knock you around a bit.

There is no real hangover to speak of.

Yes, definitely. I hate to reference a drug as shitty as GHB, but they are similar in this sense. If it doesn't work then leave it for next time.

This way you can slowly up the dose in measured increments and you'll find the amount that is right for you.
 
Agreed with luude.

The only problem will be weighing your next dose when you have caps made up at 10mg per.

Eyeballing these powders is a big no no.

Milligram scales are a must when playing with potent research chemicals such as this.
 
Well there goes trying to spilt a cap in half... Hopefully 10mg will be good. I usually have a fairly low tolerance.

^ Depends which phenethylamine it is. They are all very different beasts.

2C-B, 2C-C and 2C-D are in the range of 5-8 hours in duration (oral). Once again, it's all dosage dependent and these 3 phens have very different dosage ranges. Personally, I don't even bother with 2C-D unless it is in combo. An old friend calls 2C-D 'pharmacological tofu', as, it's effects are minimal on it's own, unless you dose upwards of 40mg.

Many of the other 2C-*'s have much longer durations. 2C-E and 2C-T-7 are 2 of the longer acting phens and you should allow 12 hours on the average for duration.

2C-P can last up to 20 hours and many people enjoy this phen, but dislike the duration...
 
might sound like a silly question but whilst on topic of 2CE,
does this substance produce open eyed visuals?? i had well in my experience a med - low does of 2CI and 2CB and these substances didnt produce OEV,
in saying that i got huge CEV. personally like 2cb the most cause it didnt last ages.

very curious on 2Ce hence why i commented here
 
Yes, but it's dose dependent.

I found 2C-E doesn't produce open eye visuals for me below 20mg, I have seen people floored by it and state "this is stronger than acid" from as little as 10mg oral so it's best to find the dose that works for you.

I find 2C-B much more visual than 2C-E

I normally use 2C-E as a prelude to LSD now days.

What dose did you have misteee?

2cb i had a 25mg dose
nd 2ci i had a 15mg dose. i found the 2ci to be much stronger on a dose~threshold matter, but 2cb produced mild euphoria.
 
I haven't tried 2C-E but I have tried 2C-I. I tend to get a bad headache the next day but I seem to be alone on this.

Also, I find dosages hard to figure out. Not only do different people react differently to these substances, but I find that a person can react differently on the same dosage on a different occasion subject to other variables - and I wish I knew what these were. For instance, I have been floored once by 2C-I whilst a friend was in the perfect region. On another occasion, I took twice the dose as the same friend and experienced the mildest of visuals whilst he was tripping hard. Having said that there is every chance that the second occasion involved a different branch of the 2C-x family.

Psilo, are you able to shed some light on this, or am I mistaken?
