2cb - first time - Plesant low dose

I took 15 mg of 2cb with a new friend. We're both extremely experienced with psychedelics. I've sampled plenty of 2c chemicals, indulging in over a gram of 2ce myself over the years.

The come up was suprisingly fast and pleasant. In about 30 minutes the drug had taken effect. During the build-up I felt none of the malaise so common to my phenethylamine come ups. The discomfort I usually feel is partly due to the compounds, and partly due to the baggage knocking around in my head.

As the drug set in I noticed a sharpening of vision coupled with a stochastic smoothing which brought eyes out of the bark of trees. (this is a common theme in my most profound trips)

My friend and I just wandered around his town for hours, discussing the perspective shift our salvia abuse has brought us. At one point he quit smoking.

The most important topic of conversation we rambled over was "that one thing," or the unknowable which can be approached from many directions in life but is always the same. It is, of course, beyond language and concepts and to characterize it with a pronoun is to do a great injustice. To me the intensity of a trip is determined by my familiarity with It. Right now, sober, I can only talk the vaguest circles around it using broad generalizations. Love, the Heisenberg effect, God, the soul... What do these have in common?


TO GET TO THE IMPORTANT stUfF
2cb was a side effect free psychedelic that let my mind unfurl in the typical psychedelic fashion at a low, low, dose. It didn't push in any specific direction, or force my mind open. Instead, it allowed me to do whatever I desired. Many people characterize 2c-b as specifically profound or shallow. This is obviously a case of projection. The drug is very gentle, and will allow the user to take it any way they want. I'm surprised at the notable psychonauts in our community who assume their experience is justification for labeling this chemical hot or not.

The trip was over about 6 hours after it had started, but the charge I got out of it was enough to keep my brain tripping until I went to bed, 5 hours later.

nice report.. and not a bad choice on the dosage.

i've been trying out different doses lately and i have found that about 20~22 mg's is perfect for an 8-hour dance drug.

i tried 26mg's the other day and it floored me for a good 2 hours before i could get up and feel full of energy.

it's definitely my new party drug of choice.

Great summary of low-dose 2C-B. I've found that with higher doses the familiarity with "It", as you say, grows stronger by far. Its method of approaching "It" is unique but similar to other phens, especially 2C-E, but not nearly so in-your-face and serious about it. It seems particularly easy to delve into fantasies (or not) of being other "people" or things in various perceptions of dimensions. I found LSD to greatly enhance its focus when used in combination. That's a great combination, there. I have yet to sample high-dose 2C-D or 2C-P at all, but I actually find 2C-B to be the most like 2C-E (my favorite 2C and my second-favorite psychedelic), and second place for psychedelic voyages into the beyond, so far. As you say though, it definitely is steered by you to a greater degree than 2C-E. I expect 2C-P to match or exceed 2C-E in potential, however.

In low doses, I find 2C-B and 2C-D to be very similar in that they both allow a greater but sober understanding of "It" (to conintue to use your terminology) without directly experiencing It, except that 2C-B is less focused and less communicative (for me). I prefer 2C-D in low dosages to 2C-B for discussion and thinking, but recently I have had several experiments where I took 2C-D first, and then a couple of hours later some 2C-B to shift the high. Both are side-effect free for me as well, although as I've used more and more psychedelics I find the side effects to continually reduce. Since I've used 2C chemicals moreso than any others, I've gotten to the point where they usually feel quite comfortable. Then again, I haven't used 2C-E in many months.

By the way, I really like your description of tripping and It. That really nails It on the head, I think (pun intended after re-reading)
