2CB and Mirtazapine

I have recently been put on 45mg of Mirtazapine daily for anxiety and depression. (Yes I already understand the don't use drugs with these medical conditions lecture, arguably I find 2CB to be a very healing psychedelic but this is all besides the point.) I want to know the possible interactions between these two, as according to wiki (unreliable I know) They are both 5-HT2C receptor antagonists. Mirtazapine being a 5-HT2A anatgonist and B being a partial antagonist (maybe).

Does this mean I am unlikely to trip from the B?

I also know from experience that Acid works just fine, maybe with slightly diminished effects, however shrooms do not do anything at all except produce a slight nausea.

i used remeron to try and cancel out an lsa trip, it sort of worked it made me super tired, but I felt like complete shit for almost the whole rest of the week. Mirtazipine on its own will make me super tired the next day.

Yeah when I first started using it I would sleep for 18 hours or so but now that I have used it for 6 weeks, it doesn't even make me sleep any more.

I used to be on remeron as well. Made me sleep about 18hrs at a time as well. Never finished my initial prescription for that reason, but keep it around to negate a trip if necessary. I tested it out once just to see if it would work and it was fairly effective. I'd imagine if the sedating effects no longer occur, you'll probably just get some diminished effect.

I'd be really cautious mixing remeron and psychedelics. It has quite the receptor profile on its own...

I was using Mirtazapine for a while to get off LSD trips. Works very nicely. I also found that if your dosing them each day up till the day you trip you wont trip nearly as hard.

Remeron (mirtazapine) will make it very difficult to have an intense mushroom experience , I know this from experience. IT will not effect a DMT experience at all, as far as 2cb and any other chems I really dont know though.
