Not written a trip report or checked BL for a long time but was having a browse and the (now closed) thread about people seeing bugs when they're tripping inspired me to write this!
Rather uninteresting night, went to a psytrance gig and had a wicked time but the 2 2CB bombs I took seemed to have no effect. Later on my friends couch after everyone had gone to bed things started getting weird. What followed was 3-4 hours of beautiful colourful visuals and introspection. Whenever my thoughts drifted to subjects that I found uncomfortable I would find my hands covered in bugs with a certain hierarchy.
Wood lice -> Ants -> Scorpion like ants with raised stinging tail -> Oil like goo/metallic spikes (these hurt too!)
There was a definite step between the stages, not one morphing to the other. What I found interesting was that I it made me realise that some things in my life bother me in a subconscious way that I don't usually let affect my day to day life. It took having it projected into a sensory experience for me to take notice and it lead to me making some positive changes in my life.
The whole experience was very controllable and never felt overwhelming, 2CB is wonderful stuff at high dosages. Despite the unpleasant nature of what I was seeing at times it was definitely not a bad trip. The experience affected me enough that I drew this picture, I'm not very artistic at all but thought I'd share it anyway!
