2c-x's Nootropic effecs

I've only ever tried 2c-e, and I remember coming out of it mentally and spiritually healed. However along with that experience I also had an unexplainable thirst to learn.

I was taking a year off from school (after graduating) and I remember going back to highschool take classes because the thirst was so driving.

Are there any other 2c-x's that have a similar effect?

I tripped 2c-e occasionally during the summer and came back to school ready to learn, can't say it was really the 2c-e though. I'd say it was just having a break.

I've read reports on erowid stating the same thirst for learning.
I don't think it's the break.

When you are shown clearly how much you really do not know, it sparks up a thirst to learn, to know. It is the nature of these compounds to do that.

I have eaten grams of 2C-I and tasted 2C-E many times, I contribute my near poi mastery to hundreds of hours of practice on 2C-I that definitely helped fast foward my intuition. (I need vidz, I got some 8 pedal flower pictures in every direction that I need to get to post on here!)

I use psychedelics mostly for the arts, but I could see how they could have nootropic advantages in other areas.

What you describe sounds like a therapeutic effect but not a nootropic one. I don't hear anything about cognitive enhancement really...

Regarding nootropic effects, 2C-D is reported to have this especially in the lower range of dosage and I concur. Actually it's the only thing I believe it's good for but I have yet to eat a fat dose.

The healing therapeutic effect is common to many psychedelics. 2C-X often have a good potential for empathogenesis but some more than others. 2C-B and 2C-T-7 are quite nice, 2C-C too but it is somewhat weaker than both, 2C-I can be interesting socially but is otherwise superficial and uninteresting to me. 2C-E is more of an analytical tool IMO.

I should rephrase that, my intuition flies through the roof on psychedelics (whilst doing what I do best), but there is a clear cognitive enhancement.

With poi, there is a TON of shit you can be doing wrong with your body to throw yourself off balance. I have had some nice "ideas" that feel like there is no way I would have ever made those connections with my poi sober. Ultimately I made the connection that is there now and I know it, but damn, thank you magical new thoughts! lulz

I very rarely notice lasting positive changes in motivation from 2c's.

I wouldn't expect to just eat a bunch of 2C-X and have such a thing, it's pretty nice how those tryptamines can seem to work that way though!

I very rarely notice lasting positive changes in motivation from 2c's. They have always felt a bit recreational and lacking in theraputic or nootropic effects. Even 2C-D for me is reasonably psychedelic at low doses - enough to prevent me from being able to do focused research on seomething.
Some tryptamines (shrooms, 4-aco-dmt, dmt, 5-meo-dmt, 5-meo-mipt...) do seem to have a long lasting positive effect though. I guess you could call the enhanced motivation and stable mood a nootropic effect because your thought process is much more streamlined and resilient to negative reinforcement in such a state.
