This trip was about a year ago in the fall time. On a thread the other day there was some discussion on 2C-T-2 and it reminded me of this trip and I thought I would write a TR about it.
It was a warm fall day and I had the house to my self and nothing to do. So I decided to do some 2C-T-2 I had laying around. I went with 18mgs and drank it in some warm water. I hung out around the house for about three hours until I started to peak. After I felt like I was at a peak and wasn’t going to get any higher I decided to go on an adventure and go jogging and mountain bike riding.
So I got on the mountain bike and went over to a near by lake that had a lot of trails around it. I felt good had some mild but good visuals going and the colors were nice it was fall and the trees were turning colors and the native grasses were turning colors. The grasses had a red to yellow hue and the trees were yellow so it was a nice red to yellow spectrum everywhere.
I parked the bicycle and went for a jog around the lake. Psychically I felt very good had extra energy from the 2C-T-2. I saw a couple of my neighbors I didn’t talk to them but I felt like I could if I needed to. It was a good headspace for being social and going out and about around town.
I was enjoying the colors and looking for wildlife I saw a coyote hiding in the grass looking at the lake I think he was thirsty waiting for an opportunity to sneak down for a drink of water. It is about a 2 mile loop around the lake and after I got around I got my bike and went to ride on some of the other trails.
I went riding around for a bit enjoying the weather and the scenery. I had a good basic phen buzz. After a while of bike riding I could feel my buzz going down a bit I decided to go back to the house, so I made my way back there.
At the house I ate some salad and I brought me down a bit but it tasted soo good and it started to up my energy level a bit. It was starting to get dark so I put everything up for the night and went and took a shower. After the shower I smoked a bowl of MJ and it brought some of the trip back I could see some dim patterns and felt a little altered.
The Moon just came up and was glowing through the clouds and making halos. So I turned off all the lights in the house and opened the dining room window and was watching the sky.
On that side of the house is a two-lane hwy about 30 feet from the house with open space on the other side. A car would drive by every 5 or 10 minutes.
After a bit a small heard of deer came in to view eating grass on my side of the road, slowly walking up the side grazing. There was a large buck in the heard and he kept chasing a smaller buck away from the heard. Their was nowhere for the smaller buck to run so he kept going a crossed the road. After a minute he would come back a crossed the road and the larger buck would chase him off again.
I started to worry a car would come by and hit him and cause an accident and thought of trying to chase the heard off but there was houses all down the road and nowhere to chase them off to and if I chased them a crossed the road they would just re cross for the better grass and water on this side.
So the smaller buck was re crossing the road after getting chased off for about the 3rd time and all the sudden an SUV came speeding down the road at about 65 mph.
The SUV hit the deer full on in the side, I could hear the sound of the deer’s rib cage cracking and being smashed in and the sound of the plastic on the front of the SUV breaking and being smashed in. My attention focused on the incident and turned in to one of those distorted time accident monuments where a moment is drawn out into a long time frame.
After the impact the SUV must have slammed on its brakes because the deer went sliding down the road on it’s side with it head and neck still propped up.
As it slid by parallel in my view the moonlight and the headlights from the SUV lit up its eyes in an eerie fashion and that seemed to look straight at me. The expression in its eyes was so profound!
The look in its eyes was shock, horror, confusion and million and one fleeing thoughts of life and survival. It touched my soul and the deepest parts of my self. I felt its horror, confusion and fear of death. I sensed the anxiety of the moment of a life’s last moment how many dramatic thoughts, memories, hopes and fears race though a life’s mind to make up the last moment of it existence in its present life. I felt like I sheared that moment with it but when the moment ended its time in this realm was over and it had to leave and I was still here.
After the deer slid by it lay down it head and neck and slid down the road a little more and was dead. I am pretty sure the impact smashed it rib cage ripping apart its heart and vitals and the last moment it had its head up and looked my way was the last moment any life force was going though its body.
I had one of those strange unsettling feeling you get when you see some thing unpleasant. The SUV coasted down the road and around a corner and I could not see them. I was very sure the deer was dead. So I was a little concerned with the body in the road and other cars hitting it. So I decided if the police didn’t come in 10 min I would call them (I really hate talking to police!). Luckily the SUV must have called and they showed up a few minutes after.
I closed the window and the curtains and smoked another bowl and pondered the moment of death.
