2C-T-2 – First time, relatively inexperienced, 15mg – Low dose wonder

Story and Subject Background

The subject is a 33-year-old Caucasian male, 5’11” (180.34cm), 225lbs (102.6kg).

More details about the subject and how these reports were discovered can be found here: http://www.bluelight.ru/vb/showthread.php?t=256006

Set and Setting

500mg of 2C-T-2 (2,5-dimethoxy-4-ethylthio-PEA) was obtained from a research chemical supplier north of the United States. Home alone on the weekend. This is a first experience report one week after trying 2C-I for the first time.

Because of some negative effects with bad body feeling and breathing with 2C-I, and because he did not have a sitter present, the subject wanted to sample a dose of 2C-T-2 at the lighter end of the common range (per Erowid).

According to the notes, the subject had acquired a more sensitive scale that weighs to .001mg since his last experiment.

3:30pm

T 0:00 A dissolved 15mg of 2C-T-2 in a glass of Yogi Tea and drank 1/2 to 2/3 of it. The minor upset stomach relief formula was chosen in the hopes of offsetting any possible nausea. A had read that the 2C-T-2 was potentially worse than with 2C-I.

T 0:07 A checks pulse to establish baseline but finds it is at 120bpm due to nervousness/excitement with the new chemical.

T 0:10 A finished the tea.

T 0:15 104bpm.

T 0:20 Temp 99F (37.2C), 92bpm.

T 0:30 A sat down to chant the Mahalakshmi Stotram.

T 0:35 A noticed a tickling in his throat.

T 0:45 There is coughing.

T 0:47 Possible alert.

T 0:55 A begins meditating with a cd of tamboura music.

T 1:04 Definite alert. Checks pulse, 105bpm.

T 1:09 Definite onset.

T 1:11 Airy body feeling like LSD, stiffness in neck.

T 1:13 A begins hearing sounds behind the tamboura music and wonders if they are always there. Will have to check again when at baseline.

T 1:15 Hands are sweaty.

T 1:18 Stopped meditation.

T 1:20 Hands are shaky. Listening to psy trance on di.fm, watching the Milkdrop plug-in in Winamp. No real trails yet. Having a lower body (genitals, waist) feeling reminiscent of acid.

T 1:23 +1 Acid-like feeling in scalp.

T 1:26 92bpm.

T 1:28 Good feeling. Uncertain re CEVs.

T 1:30 99.4F (37.4C)

T 1:31 Tingly head feeling.

T 1:37 First feeling of nausea.

T 1:45 Body feeling is really good.

T 1:55 Faintest CEVs/trails. Visuals seem more rounded, less linear than they were with the 2C-I experiment.

T 2:02 Good. 88bpm.

T 2:05 99F (37.2C)

T 2:06 Music is very cool. Psy trance.

T 2:08 Back is tight. Went to lay down and pet cat on the bed.

T 2:14 Back to computer. Definitely high. OEV surface movements.

T 2:17 Hard to focus eyes. Brightness in room has very subtle throbbing.

T 2:20 “I’m high.”

T 2:22 88bpm.

T 2:24 Blurred details in letters on computer monitor.

T 2:26 Hands and body are shaky, but feeling is really good. No dilation of pupils. Definite body high. 99.2F (37.3C).

T 2:31 Laid down again (no reason, bored).

T 2:32 Part of thought is still very clear. No confusion. Wondering if there would be so much clarity if pot had been used to offset nausea?

T 2:34 Feeling good. Peak? CEVs are more organic, blossoming.

T 2:36 OEVs, general visual movement everywhere.

T 2:41 Part of mind is very clear. Enjoying this low dose. A wonders at the necessity to be totally ripped when a good buzz seems sufficient right now. A writes again, “I’m high. :)

T 2:43 Pretty CEVs. A writes that they are probably faint because of the dose.

T 2:46 Nissimyani playing on di.fm psy trance channel. A writes, “WOW!!! :) :) :)” A was laying down and heard coming from the computer “This is the trip receptacle” “Call in your trip reports”. He wasn’t expecting that.

T 2:50 There was a moment of panic. A felt his heart pound irregularly, and had a hot flash. Pulse is 124bpm. Scary.

T 2:54 99.6F (37.5C).

T 2:55 A lay’s down.

T 2:56 A notes that he feels he is at a mental peak. He feels shaky in his body.

T 2:57 96bpm.

T 3:00 99.4F (37.4C) 80bpm. A writes “remember to count pulse beats, not music bpms! :)” High!

T 3:03 Nice CEVs. They breathe!

T 3:04 Notes congestion throughout the experience.

T 3:06 CEVs iridesce w/ breathing, fractals. Hands shaky.

T 3:09 80bpm 99F (37.2C). Coming down? Only in the mental/phys space. Visuals still kicking. Feel okay now, in a very good way.

T 3:13 Mentally coming down. Visuals are still good. A writes, “I know I’m high. But I KNOW it. Clearly.”

T 3:20 At computer, chilling. Question intention of doing these things. A writes, “Are we looking for spiritual shortcuts? Just to feel good?” The psy-trance was too weird so he switched to vocal trance.

T 3:23 88bpm

T 3:25 99.2F (37.3C)

T 3:28 100bpm.

T 3:34 Notes airy acid feeling. Trails are more clear now, but they are short.

T 3:40 Hands still shaky. Chilly. 80bpm, 99.2F (37.3C).

T 3:46 Just high.

T 3:48 Dancing to the Iio track Rapture.

T 3:50 A notes that he’s “in a good space.” The vocal trance is better, warmer.

T 3:54 88bpm

T 3:55 Still high. It’s good.

T 4:02 It’s a good ride. 92bpm.

T 4:05 99.4F (37.4C)

T 4:29 A write, “I’m good!” OEV ripples. Just high. 88bpm. 99.2F (37.3C).

T 4:39 Yogurt. Mmmm.

T 4:50 Definitely returning to baseline.

T 5:03 Returning (still). 84bpm. 99.2F (37.3C)

T 5:11 Returning. Some OEV, no CEV.

T 5:46 88bpm, 99F (37.2C). Slightest bit of visual disturbance. Light feeling, clear mind. Will close at T 6:00

T 6:00 End.

Summary follows.

A noted that this experience was a little more pleasurable than the one with 2C-I two weeks prior. He went into it a little concerned about the nausea and breathing issues of the previous experience, but found the nausea at this dose was barely noteworthy. He wasn’t sure whether it was just the low dose, or because he spaced the administration out by 10 minutes. There was a lingering chest congestion, but no laboured breathing as with the 2C-I at ~20mg.

The panic at T 2:50 disturbed A. He notes that he might lay off the phenethylamines for a while and try some tryptamines.

Apart from that, A really enjoyed this experience and notes that he gained a new perspective about the value of low dose tripping. The CEVs weren’t phenomenal, but it was an incredibly nice body high feeling.

Of course we're all affected differently. But in general I find the tryptamines, personally, to be far more panic-inducing than the phens. But of the phens I've tried, I'd rate them, in descending order of possibility of causing fear:

2C-E > 2C-T-7 (high dose) > 2C-T-2 > 2C-C > DOC > 2C-I >>> 2cb-fly (very pleasurable)

Interesting, I think A had a 2C-E report in the making. But I think in his saga, he's going to wait for the Dr's evaluation after his problems with the 4-AcO-Mipt before proceeding. We'll see.

Interesting Xorkoth.... for me the most anxious to most relaxed phens I've tried would be:
(keep in mind a major factor for me in having anxiety with trips is increased heart rate)

2C-E > 2C-I > DOI > 2C-D > 2C-C > DOC > MDA > MDEA > MDMA

I believe that's the full list.

2C-E because of rapid shifts in mental state accompanied by sometimes strange body feelings.
2C-I because of apparent vasoconstriction and elevated heart rate.
DOI because of sometimes relentless duration.
2C-D because of elevated heart rate.
2C-C because of elevated heart rate (not as much usually).
DOC feels very clean to my body, but is a long and potentially intense mental trip.
MDA causes little anxiety but an increased heart rate and blood pressure.
MDEA + MDMA are of very little concern exept in excessive doses.

I pretty much find your assessment accurate for me as well, except that I put 2C-I much further down the list. The first few times I did it it made me pretty anxious, but the last few times I've found it very easy to look past the physical come-up and the peak and plateau are so blissful that it causes me virtually no problems. But yeah, 2C-E can be one freaky chemical. It's the only one where I was truly sure that my mind was never coming back. I think ketamine would be scarier in that respect except that it eliminates my fear entirely.
