2c-p and xanax - First Time
Dose: ~12 mgs 2c-p (no scale used)
Okay first of all, another person took the same dose as me a couple days before and reported feeling nothing. So I went into this expecting very little.
I licked the powder off the tin foil in class at 1pm. It tastes very bitter and foul, and the flavor stays in my mouth for a long while.
Fast forward about two hours to where I am riding the bus home. My heart is starting to beat faster, everything is very bright, and my hands are sweating some. Feels like a normal come up for a psychadelic.
When I get home (3:00, two hours since I dosed) my stomach is feeling pretty aweful. I try to eat some milk and cookies but it is hard. I take my dog for a walk around the block. I am getting very minor visuals, enhanced colors and distortions in the edge of my vision. Near the end of the walk, I start having those pre-vomit dry heaves. I think to myself "oh really?" and my body says "ya really" and I throw up a tiny pile in my yard.
Back inside now. I need to mention that I usually get some pretty bad anxiety on my trips, but this was the worst yet. The comination of the body load, heart racing, and my normal anxiety really set me off. Smoking a bowl in my room gives me a strange high, very clear minded. Anxiety is still really bad, so I eat half a xanax (.25mg).
It's about 4:15 now, and I go lie down in my bed to watch some tv and try to calm down. The visuals are getting much more intense. Everything swirls and grows and transforms into shapes. There are colors covering everything. Cars will drive past my house and cast orange waves of light into my room, which will swirl into tornado shapes on my wall.
The xanax kicks in and I'm going under. My heart slows down but I still have major anxiety. I close my eyes and now start to feel like I can't move. This is where the trip really peaked (3.5 hours after dosing). I lied in my bed for about an hour and half with my eyes closed, not moving at all except for my feet, hands, and occasionally my head. I felt half asleep, and was having dream like hallucinations behind my eyes. Every few seconds I would be transported to a new image, dream, or scene. It was actually very delusional feeling. The entire time I was concentrating on my breathing, hoping to ease the anxiety. I had no control over my thoughts however and the images in my head would quickly switch from slow motion to sped up. It was also about now that the body load got worse, making my joints and stomach ache.
At 6:00 I open my eyes and my puppy is looking up at me from the edge of the bed. I pick her up and bring her into my bed with me. It is such a joy to play her right now, I feel like I am controlling the trip right now and the puppy is giving me a feeling of hope and comfort. The open eye visuals now surprise me so much! I look at maps and posters on my wall and they are very active. The images blend together and take on new shapes. It's also worth mentioning that I feel like I can STILL taste the chemical in my mouth, which is quite unpleasant.
The rest of the trip was uneventful. I took my dog for another walk, still getting swirling visuals but not as intense. I talked to a couple random people on my street (puppies attract attention like that) and delt with them just fine. Just chilled on my porch for a while taking in the trees across the street and winding down. At 7:00 I went back inside and spent most of the rest of the night watching poker tournaments on TV, just trying to relax. I had very little signs that I was still tripping. I probably could have brought the trip back into full swing with some more weed but I wasn't really trying to do that. Plus my last lighter ran out of fluid (terrible situation when you are coming down and trying to sleep).
Anyways I was able to eat a little bit at 10pm (hadn't eaten since 7am) and I fell asleep at about 12:30. The next morning I didn't hear my alarm, overslept, and missed my bus. Oh well. My final thoughts on the experience are that it was a interesting drug and completely not what I had expected. This is definetly a chemical to enjoy if you don't mind a body load, racing heart, and a colorful world.
