2C-P and MELATONIN

Hi folks,

Somewhere I read about the potentiating effect of MELATONIN on 2c-X compounds. How does it work? what's the mechanism behind it?

I read that a 4mg of 2c-e had an effect of 20mgs.

I wonder what dose of 2cp with melatonin taken week prior to 2cp, would be an equivalent of 10mgs not potentiated.?

I have never heard of this, but considering that melatonin has a half-life of 35-50mins, It would probably have it be taken the same time as the 2c-x to achieve any effects.

Melatonin does not potentiate psychedelics to an appreciable degree.
